We had our intimate wedding at Lake Placid Lodge this past weekend, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. The setting was breathtaking, with the lodge’s rustic elegance providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. The views of Lake Placid and the Adirondacks created a magical atmosphere that left us, and our guests, in awe.
The food was exceptional—each dish was beautifully prepared, delicious, and far beyond our expectations. It truly made our wedding feel even more special. The staff was phenomenal from start to finish, always attentive and available whenever we needed anything throughout the weekend. Their warmth and attention to detail allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment, knowing we were in the best hands.
Thank you, Lake Placid Lodge, for making our wedding day unforgettable. We couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect experience!

Exceptional service and setting. Lakeside cabins were amazing, well-stocked and clean. Main building is new but has warm charm, details and character, as if it has been there for a century.

Very well appointed units. Staff is amazing. Some minor issues with unit due to normal use, but nothing major. I would definitely go back.

One of the best kept vacation secrets in America. Loved the cottage. Very well equipped, super comfortable, had a porch that overlooked Lake Placid, wood burning fireplace, shower and a tub, great food, great service from all of the staff. They take you on boat tours of the lake, light a fire in the pit near the water in Adirondack chairs, and you can have smores for desert. These people work hard, so you have a peaceful vacation. They will take you to town for shopping and pick you up.

We had an unexpected stay at the Lake Placid Lodge recently. We had a beautiful room that overlooked the lake. Our room was the nicest hotel room I believe we have ever stayed in. It was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The room was stocked with snacks, beverages and luxurious toiletries. The bathrobes were so plush and comfy we purchased one to bring home. The food in the pub was not as wonderful as we imagined it would be, but it was good. The service was amazing. We really hope to return for a visit, it was breathtaking.

Gail and staff were amazing! Anticipated every need.
Rooms were impeccable.
Special details in every room by local artists.
My wife and I will definitely be back.
Noteworthy details: Atmosphere was romantic and cozy.
Both my wife and I have never slept and such a comfortable bed in our entire life!
All staff was outstanding!

My girlfriend and I had an incredible stay this winter! On an early weekend in March, it felt like we had the entire lodge to ourselves. Our room (St. Regis) was stunning with a perfect view from our private balcony, and all food we had from the lodge’s restaurants was top quality. Staff were very helpful and refilled snacks and amenities whenever needed, including unlimited supplies for s’mores! We will absolutely be back.

Just spent the weekend at the lodge for my wife’s birthday. What a wonderful time! All the staff were super welcoming and knowledgeable. The moment we arrived we were greeted with champagne and fresh cookies. Todd in particular was a real gem! He gave us a wonderful tour of the property, sharing bits of history and interesting facts about the lodge and area. The amenities were great, including an open fire in your room and big tub! We’re already planning when we can return.
