Please folks, avoid the service department! My father (age 91) had a vehicle towed in 12 days ago. For 12 days, the service department didn't look at it, didn't communicate with him and basically would tell him (when he drove in to check), that they would "squeeze it in" to diagnose. Today he found another mechanic to tow it to another shop and he was told "Too bad you're moving it, we just looked at it last night (yet they had not called him) and we know what it is now. You owe us 175. for the time we spent looking". Let's hope karma treats this service manager as he has treated others. I had a dishonest experience with the Romeo Kia location a year ago. Do yourself a favor, do NOT use them for service.

Unfortunately even though the sale was good and the dealer provided the vehicle I wanted they have not provided my registration after almost 2 months of purchasing this vehicle . Lindsay the title clerk keeps telling me that they are backed up and documents will be sent overnight but nothing all I get now is the run around. A lot of nonsense and no one can help or give me a straight answer , unfortunately if you want to make a purchase on a vehicle you can legally drive do not except Romeo Chevrolet to come thru for you

I would give 6 stars if I could. From our first contact via phone all through the buying process our salesperson Devin Kissoon was just super. He was attentive and kept us informed as to the progress of the order, and always answered our many questions. We picked up our car this Monday, and we love it. Any dealer can sell a car, but it is the personal service that made this experience unique.

I took my car into Romeo Chevy to get the engine service light corrected. They told me that the problem was corrected for $1000. When I took the car home, my code reader indicated that I had a permanent code, and the check engine light returned. I took the car back to Romeo and again they said that they had corrected the problem - this time for $650. Before I left, I showed them that my code reader still had a permanent code, and they said that I should drive for 100 miles to see if the permanent code cleared. The next day the engine service light illuminated, so I called to schedule an appointment. They said that they could not schedule an appointment for another month. I asked to speak to a manager and was forwarded to an answering machine. As of this writing, I have not heard from him. I called the Chevy corporate office who said that they would contact the dealer, but it was a privately owned entity. I cannot get my Chevy to pass inspection.

Was looking for a new truck for my son. From the first time I stepped in the dealership. I was greeted promptly and all the staff were polite and friendly. My salesman was George. I found a 2015 Dodge 1500 Big Horn. I looked at several at several vehicles and he was very knowledgeable of each. George and the Financial manger Joe made the whole process seamless and was able to get everything done in one day and we picked up the truck yesterday. We have visited several dealerships in the area in the looking for a new truck and none came close to the way we were treated at Romeo Chevrolet Buick GMC!

Trying to find a used car in today's market is a very trying task. It appears you cannot trust any of the dealerships you go into they all have hidden fees. We were at the point of giving up on finding my daughter a car but then I decided to reach out to Ashley at Romeo Chevy. They had the exact Jeep we were looking for and in the color we wanted. When asked about their fees Ashley said all they have is a $75 fee. So we decided to make the 2.5 hour drive to see what they had. Test drove the Jeep and a Ford Escape loved them both and my daughter picked the Compass. Sat with the business manager finalized the deal again no hidden fees. Since we were financing through our own bank we were going to have to come back to pick up the car. Ashley volunteered to deliver the car to us. She took that 2.5 hour drive and Romeo Chevy sent an additional car to ensure she had a ride back. Talk about going above and beyond. Will give them all my business going forward. Ashley and Romeo Chevrolet are amazing.

I purchased a 2017 used Subaru Forester from Romeo a few weeks ago. I worked with Chris. PROS: General - During this Covid season it was reassuring to see how carefully and safely the business set up its showroom, office cubicles, waiting room, and rest rooms. Sanitizer, plexiglass, distancing, and hands-free amenities in the rest rooms were very well designed and implemented. The buying experience was pleasant, although surprising: they are checking out your old vehicle for trade-in value even before you've decided whether to purchase or not, which was a bit disconcerting. It turned out to be efficient in this case because I did purchase a vehicle, and all the info was ready. CONS: The detailing on the car was less than wonderful. I found a used and very dirty disposable face mask in the sunglasses compartment a day or so later. I notified Chris via email but never heard back. Later I found a fair amount of grass clippings in the rear seat hinges when I lowered the seats. The A/C didn't work. First they plugged my car into a diagnostic machine, which for some reason also didn't work; then they tried to charge me for doing it anyway. It later developed that there was an open recall on the A/C system and Romeo set me up with Colonial Subaru for the repair. I also asked for a new rear windshield wiper since the old one was so corroded it didn't work at all; they wanted to charge me for that as well. Bottom line: Pleasant experience buying it, not so much in aftercare. I had given Romeo $19,000 in cash for a working vehicle just a week earlier; but the experience felt as though they wanted any pretext to get their hands into my wallet for more money (they ultimately "waived" the charges).

Due to COVID-19 and low inventory, I found the truck I was searching for at Romeo online. Their staff was very responsive and helpful. Once I decided to purchase the vehicle from them, they made the process very easy and smooth over the phone and email. I am from out of state, so there was some small confusion at the dealership regarding out of state purchases, but the staff at Romeo made it well worth the extra time and I would highly recommend this Dealership to someone in the future.

I bought my new Chevy Malibu in the midst of the Covid pandemic, and the staff at Romeo made the experience as efficient and friendly--and fun--as possible! Dave Winnie especially went out of his way to make things easy for me. I also love their service department--they know me, and take time to explain things, and they are always on time! That's why I keep returning to Romeo! I highly recommend them. Thanks, Romeo!

There aren't words for how incredible the staff at Romeo was! Ashely and her finance team didn't give up on getting us in the perfect truck for our family. Ashley listened to what we needed and far surpassed our expectations! She not only worked extremely hard she even came in on her day off to deliver us our truck and make sure everything was perfect! Well I had quite a day today and Romeo Chevy and Stuart were amazing. First my tire pressure went way down and I went to get air in it but got stuck at Quick Check as my key broke. Walked to Romeo and Stuart knew who I was and he was pleasant and very helpful. He arranged for a key to be ordered, drove me to Quick check, put air in my tire, I had a razor blade stuck in it, and started my car using needle nose pliers and hugged me and wished me a Merry Christmas all the while with a smile on his face. A number one employee for sure!!! Thank you

1st off I would ike to dedicate this 5 star review to a select few people of The Romeo Chevrolet staff that have outperformed themselves to smash the idea of the modern stereotypical views on what it is and means to buy a vehicle For thier professionalism and above all personalities of these three employees they have earned ROMEO Chevrolet this 5 star review Sales- ***Ashley*** Preowned manager- ***Pete*** Business manager- ***Steve*** I have a background in the car business. The knowledge of value and pricing and a history in auto repair/performance and going into a dealership I know enough of how they operate and have an understanding of how the common tactics of car sales work. Here I was shown that it wasnt needed Walking into a dealership as for most people you go in guarded with the fear of lack of honesty from those "just trying to get a sale" I soon found out that the staff stated above had a genuine honesty. A genuine care for my family's safety, comfort and the one that shocked me the most our wallet. Not only did they show me that the car buying experience doesnt have to be stressful battle with a fear of lacking trust. They have completely shattered the stereotype of the other run of the mill auto dealerships while gaining a lifetime customer. Go to see them if you think your stuck in a payment your family needs more room you want a new ride with more power on the pedal For any reason. Go to ROMEO Chevy in Kingston NY See those people stated above and you will be treated with respect in a way any other car dealer has not shown you. If you are not 100% knowledgeable about cars DO NOT go to Romeo. They Will take advantage of you. They have taken advantage of my mother who is 82 years old, in multiple occasions. They are horrible!!!!! They have No Conscious.
