Very pushy to get you to sign, gives lots of “discounts” but make you jump through hoops to obtain them. Watch out for unspoken fees they hit you with! Customer service very unhelpful and love to divert you to phone manufacturers.

I have had multiple horrible customer service experiences at this store. If you don't want to buy a new phone, they want nothing to do with you. I went in for a replacement phone after my screen cracked, and they turned me away, telling me I had to do the replacement online. I spoke to Verizon Wireless 1-800 customer service and they were surprised the store turned me away because, obviously, they could have helped me get a replacement phone.
The next time was today when I went in to get a replacement screen protector. The manager told me that they couldn't help me if I had insurance/warranty and that I had to go into the main Smithhaven mall to one of the kiosks to get the replacement there. I asked him to confirm my insurance/warranty on my account before I took the time to go to the kiosk. He said yes and then left me in the lobby. I waited 10 minutes before following up with another rep in the store. Turns out the manager had checked me in and put me into a queue for someone else in the store to deal with me. The next person informed me that the kiosk in the mall would not be able to help me and would be a waste of my time, and that I had to follow up with Samsung. So the manager was ready to turn me away, have me running in circles, and waste my time rather than sit down and actually provide customer service. Verizon's 1-800 customer service line once again told me that the store should have been able to help me get my hands on a replacement screen protector.
This location is an absolute nightmare and I don't know why they're in business at all anymore when their recommendation for every interaction is to turn you away to the website or a third party. They go out of their way to avoid assisting customers unless you want to buy a new phone. I would give zero stars if I could.

Gave the runaround about pricing and “deals” for an hour and a half, then tried to rush us to make a decision with only five minutes left to closing. Walked out with nothing, surprisingly online works better.

In dealing with a stolen phone, I needed ATT to reactivate a new phone. After 3 1/2 in ATT and getting no assistance I went to Apple. Stephanie made calls and literally wrote up what I needed.. I disconnected service with ATT and went to Verizon. I thought I had complete services in Ronkonkoma, but I had multiple issues. I was advised by Stephanie and the Apple Store to go to Verizon in Lake Grove and specifically ask for David.. She said everyone was good. He was outstanding. He proved to be knowledgeable, patient and exceptionally thorough. He completed what Verizon in Ronkonkoma said could not be done. He restored my telephone number. Attached my iPad, fixed accounts so they would be working.. I will be returning to Apple to tell Stephanie, how correct she was and I will be sharing the service I received from David with the other professors at Suffolk County community college as well as my Rotary club.
He is an exceptionally diligent employee.

Shady buisness practices. They added a line to an existing phone line without my knowledge. When I received the bill I returned to the store with a corporate manager on the phone and they still lied and said we got you a discount by doing this. There was no discount and it was an extra 42 bucks a month for nothing but upsell.

I had an issue with my watch and the connection, and I spent over 3 hours on the phone with a representative who could NOT fix it. I went into the Smith Haven location and Mark was determined to help. It took some time to figure out what was going on but he did it, and I was so so thankful. Will go back to this location again for anything we need!

I find it hilarious that Verizon wanted me to show ID to return an old phone for reimbursement but they never made the individual who opened up an account under my name and address and purchased a brand new iPhone and had it charged to me directly never had to show any ID clearly… maybe time to update those policies

I’d give them no stars! The rep Christian is a LIAR! Promised me a credit on my account for “trying the home internet”. Yet when I ask Verizon on the phone they do not have and have yet to see a credit on my account.
He promised me the fourth line on my account was free along with the phone, Verizon on the phone is telling me the fourth line is NOT free and neither is the phone! Verizon customer service giving me completely different information than Christian did!!! You should be absolutely ashamed of yourself!!

The manager Criss for this location, is like an angel from God, I got a difficulty with the internet reception and after trying for almost a month I decided to give back my phone pro max and sign up with a different phone company, he help me and I could return the phone, with the best actitud, he is the reason of this 5*

I just left Verizon Smith Haven where I experienced the WORSE customer interaction ever! HORRIBLE!
While working with one rep another rep challenged everything I said. I walked out!
I will be leaving Verizon because of this experience.

Went there 4x, all during the weekdays, different days/times, CLOSED! NOT EVEN A NOTE ON THE DOOR! At&T said customers complained for weeks!

Am a long-time customer , I was there for a phone replacement, and I was very impressed by their service. The staff was friendly and helpful, took their time helping me, and made me feel good about being there . I was happily surprised because the last time I visited a Verizon center, I didn't remember feeling too good about the experience

This store is usually OK except if really busy, then you may have a wait. Never had any issues. The store associates are always helpful and do their best to get it done quickly.

At the lake Grove mall Verizon Instead of giving me a price for adding a phone line they gave me an "estimate". All 3 employees underestimated the costs by over $100. I was then told that Verizon made a mistake and they would refund me $100. I went to the Verizon store at the Smith Haven mall 3 different times within the past month and they still have not refunded me $100. I have talked to several different employees including the manager who all gave me promises that they did not keep. On top of having employees and a manager making promises that they could not keep, there is no way to contact any employees at the Verizon store. So unfortunately I have to waste my time, gas money, and mileage to go to the Verizon store at the Smith Haven mall to be lied too. I will go back 1 more time today and I will not leave until I am refunded. They also added things that I already had on my Verizon account and increased the price on my 2 cell phones to $265 per month where I had to call Verizon to erase the overcharges added to my account. They added a mobile hotspot when I already had one. They added Hulu and Netflix when I already had that too. Absolutely horrible sales team giving out false information and promises.
