Title: Disappointing Experience with Discrimination at T-Mobile, Lake Grove.Rating: 1 starReview:My recent experience at the T-Mobile store near Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove was incredibly disappointing. I visited the store to purchase a phone and was met with discrimination based on my race and religion by the manager, David or Dave. Unlike other customers, I was not greeted properly and was not even offered a bag for my $1299 purchase, which made me feel unwelcome from the start.What shocked me the most was the aggressive push to buy the protection plan. It felt like a high-pressure sales tactic, reminiscent of a car dealership trying to sell an extended warranty. When I declined the plan, I was belittled and made to feel foolish for my choice. The manager even went as far as to question what I would do if I broke my phone right after leaving the store, insinuating that I was making a mistake by not purchasing the plan.This kind of treatment is unacceptable in the 21st century, and no customer should have to endure discrimination and disrespect while simply trying to make a purchase. I chose not to cause a scene at the time, but I feel compelled to share my experience to raise awareness. I hope that someone from T-Mobile corporate sees this review and takes steps to educate the staff at this location on providing better customer service and treating all customers with respect and dignity.

The service at this store was phenomenal. Dave the manager waswonderful to deal with. I had issues with getting a discount planloaded on my account and he was on top of it. He personallystraightened everything out. He gave me updates on how things we'reprogressing. I couldn't be happier. Kudos to Dave and crew.

This is the best T-Mobile I have ever been to, I called ahead and spoke to a man named Jay, I then came in and Jay was everything and more. Very informative and truly knows his craft. He was so good I came back the next day and bought 5g internet even though I have Verizon fios..This man should be CEO..He is T-Mobile. 15 year customer happy.

I can’t say enough kind words for Lamia Choudhury. Her customer service was outstanding - product knowledge, patience and attention to detail was outstanding. I strongly recommend this store and specifically Lamia if you are in the market to upgrade your phones, change providers etc. Thanks again for all your help!

Always great services whenever needed come in person.I came back today for a issue that I noticed with my cellphone and returned back to this specific location because all the employees are great and helpful. I recently moved and went another location in centereach never again I'll go there.I'll stick to this location. They're the best!!

My mother had a problem trading in her old phones after receiving new models, sent by a customer service representative on the phone. When we went to return our old models we were told we needed a shipping label that wasn't provided to us. We tried multiple stores and even spent over an hour and a half on the phone with customer service. It just seemed like we were getting hit with an obstacle at every store we tried. This T-Mobile was able to fix our problem in less than 20 minutes and was sweet and helpful the entire time! We were helped by a man named Robert, he was friendly and kind from the moment we entered the door till we left, and also recommended if we needed further help he would be available for us. If we ever need to go back I will be requesting him specifically! We loved our experience there and hope everyone who goes will get the same lovely treatment we did. :)

I need to add a line just for talk and text and Lamia and her manager were great. We tried one option first then figured out a way to save me money and show me the T-Mobile Digits app so I can have a business line and personal line without having to purchase a while new phone. Lamia was efficient and extremely helpful and friendly.

I stopped in last night with my mom to get her new phone set up. Robert G. greeted us immediately upon entering the store and was very helpful for the entire experience. He had a wonderful amount of patience when dealing with my mom (she's not the most tech savvy). He didn't rush her along at all and let her take the time she needed. If you are in need of phone services here, ask for Robert!

T Mobile Travel is not reliable, we rented a car with them and ended up paying double, our complaints have not been addressed despite having spoken with them on several occasions. We will never use their services again, there is hidden information and manipulation, such as insurance coverage and then they tell you that you did not read the fine print.

I upgraded my iphone XR to an iphone 13 and their employee, Marlon, was very personable and friendly. Overall, I had a great experience and he made the transition to my new phone very enjoyable with great side conversations!
