decent selection, prices were mediocre, but two stars because the elephant scrubber who owns the place complained about me taking too long browsing when i was the only one in the store. go soak your head, but wrap it in a turban first, you goat-violator.

An old man watched me like I was going to steal and answered. When I picked up what I wanted I brought it to the counter to pay with a credit card. "Ten dollar minimum." "But this is all I need." "Buy more." "I don't need anything else." Then the cashier reached to grab everything I had wanted. I won't be going back and I will tell my friends to do the same. I'd rather support a business that doesn't treat me like a punk teenager.

Cool little smoke shop. The first time I went there I was very impressed with the service that I received. The guy behind the counter was very accommodating. I could not find the Macanudo that I was searching for so I had to find something else. Just based on my pallet and preferred taste in cigars he was able to give me a few suggestions. I ended up picking out a few new cigars to try out. He also let me handle the cigars which always helps the sale. I ended up leaving with a cigar that I had not tried until then and now always grab when I cigar hunt. I have to deduct a start because they often don't have many of the super common brands that I prefer to smoke. J & K is also a very small smoke shop and not having a walk in humidor hurts this place. The prices are also a bit more expensive than I usually pay online but I have no problem paying a little premium for the convenience of brick and mortar. They also have the cloves and some ascot cigars. All in all a decent little smoke shop to go to if your options are limited.

Stopped into this place to pick up a cigar. The place seemed clean and well stocked but small. The ceiling is also very low, making it seem smaller than it actually is. Anyway, moving on, the humidor is not very large, and I expected something bigger. Prices were kind of high for a Suffolk County smoke shop, for both cigars and cigarettes, though he had a lot of different types of specialty cigarettes, including every variety of Nat Sherman, Dunhill, imported ones, and the outlawed cloves varieties. So, why one star? Well, the gentleman who I assume is the owner, was NASTY to me. He would not let me handle or go near the cigars, let alone open the case myself, and then when I went to pay, asked me for ID, which is fine, but then proceeded to tell me it was fake! I was about to walk out, but figured the cigar would get me through a long day at work. Avoid.
