A true Adirondack feel that's close to both Six Flags and Lake george village. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub on both days of our stay. We did not get the chance to use the sauna room though. We also enjoyed cooking on the brand new BBQ/smoker in the back next to the fire pit that they provide. The owners were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area with many helpful suggestions on activities to do during our stay. If your looking for a private Adirondack stay this is it. Your in the center of all the action with a trolly that passed by often that takes you to and from the village and other activities in the area. Upon arriving you'll be met with the scent of coffee and cedar from the office that reminded me of my mother's cabin at camp. We truly enjoyed our stay at this establishment.

Very very friendly staff, perfect location. It's outdated, but the beds are comfortable. The location is ideal since everything is 10 minutes away by car and the price is very reasonable. The swimming pool is a must.
Nearby activities: Lake George, Six Flags, several parks around.

This place is a gem! The owner and his son are very accommodating. Very friendly, clean room. Nice pool. Not too close to the strip by the lake and not too far either. I think it has the perfect location. They have two grills that you can cook your own food on if you want. There's so much about this place that I like I can't list it all!!!!! Super impressed ?????Safety: Again as I said it's not so close to the riff raff, that it is perfect for a family. But not too far that it's only 4 min from the lake and six flags.

Amazing motel. Owner of this motel is really cool person. We were running late due to multiple crashes on NY through way and he stayed back to give us late check in. Motel is just 5 min drive from Lake george and you can bike there easily through the scenic bike way or drive. Pool in motel was clean. Parking is ample in motel so complains. Morning we had good coffee brew and muffins.Since this motel is surronded by woods there are lots of insects and mosquitos in evening. I would highly recommend to keep all windows close.Small note: Wifi is available but it have range issue. You might have to seat in hallway to get good signal strength.

Very friendly, polite and amicable staff. Wifi (weak), air conditioning and fridge in all rooms. The breakfast unfortunately is a few donuts on the counter. The kids liked it fine but I passed. We were also excited that there was a basketball hoop, we brought our ball, but unfortunately it was in pieces when we got there along with the playset advertised on the website. The ice machine is inaccessible due to clutter, spider webs and being unplugged...so we did not dare use the bbq either. We did enjoy some pool time, jacuzzi time and sauna, although the two outdoor spas were out of service and dirty. This place definitely requires some love. I must say though they have good business since it was completely full for the weekend. I recommend that you don't base your decision on website information which is clearly outdated by a few years.

Worst motel ever!!! The rooms were last renovated in the 70s and we immediately found that one of the light bulbs were burned out and a giant dead mosquitoe was on the windowsill. There was NO wifi in the rooms and absolutely no USB outlets in the whole room due to the dated equipment/furnishings. The 'hot tub' was only lukewarm, there was no ice in the ice machine, and their so called breakfast was 3 stale boxed donuts. On top of it all, one of the major reasons we booked this place was because of the playscape for our twin 5yr olds... when we arrived it was in pieces. We were told it was taken down due to Covid however they haven't had a chance to put it back upEvidently they haven't bothered updating their website in a few years, or decades, as well. When we approached the front desk about all these issues he just shrugged and said sorry... he then refused to comp our stay at all. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Tall Pines is an older motel, so window air conditioner, but the room was clean and comfortable. Staff is very accommodating and kind. Good place to stay if you don't need luxury.

Stayed there Memorial Day weekend and was very pleased. This motel is well kept up, friendly and offers a nice heated pool and hot tub. My friends stayed down the road at the travelodge and were begging to stay with me at The Tall Pines. Check it out if you are staying in Lake George.

If i could give this place 0 stars I would. We booked this motel for a weekend stay with our kids. We get to the place and pulling in with a car full of kid's in bathing suits I realize there is no water in the pool. When booking we were NEVER informed they didn't have a working pool.. and this was the MAIN REASON we booked here!! The motel looked nothing like the pictures, was NOT well kept, grass as tall as the fence!! SO after driving a hour here we were totally let down, and then to top it off I had to use the bathroom soooo bad, I asked nicely to use a bathroom and the guy at the front desk responds "If i let you use it, then I would have to clean it." I WAS SHOCKED, being we went out of our way and were inconvenienced and he couldn't even be courteous enough to open a bathroom up to me!! NEVER AGAIN!! Rude and VERY unprofessional!!

This place was a joke booked 2 nights stayed one the jacuzzi was not working but the worse was the smell was so bad that you could taste the mold. Do not stay here!!!!
