Staff seem to be pretty miserable. I asked the older lady ringing me out if they offered student or first responder discounts and her response was "everything is already 50% off we can't give you anymore discount." A simple "no" would have sufficed.

Dishonest marketing. I purchased the most expensive coat in the store with "Buy It For Life" guarantee. The main zipper is failing and the company no longer honors the guarantee that was offered with purchase. The staff in this store would not even look at the item needing replacement. I'll be shopping with REI for my adventure gear until i find something better.

I don't own a lot of Eddie Bauer clothing, but the items that I have had over the years were always really well made and lasted forever. I have been to other Eddie Bauer locations and yesterday was the first time I've ever been to this one in Lake George. I usually leave other EB stores without anything - simply because the stuff doesn't quite fit me well. BUT...I found an awesome pair of fleece lined jeans that I was able purchase as a gift for someone - and they fit perfectly. YAY! It was pretty busy and there was a long line to check out, but I'll definitely try this location again when I need to either buy another gift or treat myself to something new.

Great selection and very good prices. I've found that the merchandise Eddie Bauer sells at this location is always top quality, whether the items are "made for outlet sales" or their "regular retail stock" left over from the previous season. (I'm not sure how this brand does it) I also appreciate that they carry both misses and plus sizes. I can fluctuate between size 12, 14 or 16, depending on the brand and/or how my chronic illness effects my weight at any given time and I rarely have a hard time finding the clothes that I like in the sizes I need. That's not something you see in a lot of "outlet" stores. I'm so pleased with that, I've been known (on more than one occasion) to leave there with multiples of certain items, either because I want several color ways or in case I'm not able to find a "favorite" sweater, blouse or pair of jeans later on if/when something happens to damage the item or I just wear it out. Eddie Bauer gets bonus points for that reason alone. ?
