“Had an issue with receiving some rewards as a member of the Hilton diamond status. Contacted corporate and the hotel and we were able to come to an agreeable solution.”

250 Lake Flower Ave, Saranac Lake“Nice rooms. The hotel itself is located on the shore, but there is very little space on the shore. There is a very busy road behind, it is noisy all the time. You can walk through the park to the town, but the noise of cars is always in your ears. Breakfast in a cafe nearby. During our stay there was wedding, we couldn’t even sit near the water, there was noise and commotion, a lot of people.”
“Especially at this price point, this was a great hotel! I didn't use the pool, but knowing it was there was nice.
The breakfast was above my expectation and I was happy that it was pet friendly.
My only criticism is that it was hard to know for certain if I had gotten a pet friendly room. There was no check box. When I registered. It took several phone calls to get somebody that could answer the question to confirm it was pet friendly. I made note of it in my reservation in the special requests field. That seemed to get the job done.
I would definitely stay here again! A real value I thought”
“When you're out riding the newly opened section of the Adirondack Rail Trail from Saranac Lake Village to Floodwood Outpost, plan to stop at Charlie's Inn for lunch on the return trip. Charlie's is a favorite stop for winter guests arriving by snowmobile, but will soon be recognized as the best place for lunch along the middle section of the ADK RT. They offer a wide range of beverages, including a full bar, and a menu that includes appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and dinner entrees. Charlie's offers great service, with fun atmosphere and quality food and drink. Bonus: the six miles back to Saranac are mostly downhill!”
