“One thing that I miss about living in NY are the experiences that we had during the Fall. Apple and pumpkin picking were always fun. Meadowbrook is a small farm, but perfect for family time out.”

This farm stand has some of the best produce! This cute little farm stand is family owned and operated. It's self serve and based on the honors system. Cash and venmo are accepted and instructions on how to pay are right on the table. No lie. I wasn't ready for the freshness! As soon as we got home we snacked on the crunchiest snap peas EVER. The radish were crispy and spicy. Broccolini risotto exploded with flavor (we cooked this at home). The colorful heirloom tomatoes had so much juice and flavor. Like a REAL tomato. Absolutely in love with this organic farm stand and how fresh everything is. Expect to come in and not find the exact things you got last time since they pick what's seasonal and ready. Love the variety and the burst of flavor from everything that's grown here. A new favorite gem!”
“As stated earlier you might think the sign to this store leads you to a smoke shop but just look for where the shopping carts are and go in through that door to the immediate right of the smoke shop and you will find a cozy store that looks a little shabby but has some fantastic buys. I happened to be driving through the town and just looked over at the strip mall and saw the big Oriental market sign and absolutely checked it out for nothing but pure curiosity. They have a whole lot of ingredients that you're not going to find at big box stores like h Mart or the supermarket in Middletown. Lots of rice seasonings, pickles and sauces. There are also some fresh ingredients like baby bok choy but the star of the show where the Frozen authentic Chinese soup dumplings and steamed buns. Probably saw my favorites I've ever had even more so than the ones I get at the Korean grocery store. There's an elderly gentleman who helps you out with everything if you have any questions and he's very happy to do so. Looking forward to going back there again.”

Sent her a photo of the product this store offered, but she was reluctant to have me purchase it, until she ran it by her oncology team. Appreciated that this type of product was available. Also, the bulk food/spice section is an added asset to this store.”
“I truly love visiting this store whenever I’m in the area and I been going here for many years, just not as much. From the pies, cookies and even their double egg and cheese sandwiches that “Bob” makes. ??All the staff have been greeting customers with a nice smile and offering any needed help. The ladies work really hard to please so many people that go in and out of that place and I acknowledge that when I talk to them or whenever they help others in a fast pace. I had tried almost all their sauces and I love a lot of them. Looking forward to see what 2024 brings at the farm and will be making an appearance. I truly think this store needs more space so they can sell even more stuff and/or build a food truck to share to the Dutchess County. Lastly, I personally love their apples. Nothing beats a local owned apple like Bartons has.Remember, “the best way to get to people’s ❤️❤️is through their stomachs!! ”
“Love all the fresh summer vegetables! tomatoes and cucumbers that are so fresh and delicious that you can snack on with nothing added. They have a kind of flat (Italian?) green beans that I’ve never seen in supermarkets in this area and they are full of flavor. Zucchinis, bell peppers also taste great unlike the fat waxy kind from supermarkets. Eggs taste better than the organic eggs from supermarkets. Plus the owner is generous to share knowledge.”
