“This is a very good gas station. The service and the personnel are excellent. I'd gone to a Valero station in Poughkeepsie where the staff was exceptionally unhelpful so I came to this one and people were amazingly helpful. Really appreciate it. Highly recommend them also looks like they have good food even though I didn't try any.”

“Love this place, open all night and the sandwiches are the best! They gotta give the late night man a kitchen upgrade and air conditioning though! He'd be cooking up a storm!”

“Lucky to have Pete in the neighborhood. Great guy, great deli... always happy even as he is busy working. Sandwiches, both breakfast and lunch, are always top notch... worth the trip ... Excellent Deli!”

“Love their food. Had beef empanadas with lettuce and cheese, and an order of rice and beans. Everything was delicious.Employee was really nice, and said they're hoping to do other food too like pupusas! Can't wait.”

“This is actually the most tourist gas station I've ever seen. And I love it. It's Americana from front to back, and incredibly well done and clean. Worth a stop even for just a cold drink.”

“After scrolling through various reviews one wonders if everyone is talking about the same place that I shop. This is an extraordinarily busy shop selling perhaps thousands of products. Some, like ice cream and pizza, require individual attention. Yes, you can wait a few minutes sometimes but service is always cordial, polite and efficient. Always with a smile. Product quality is first class across the board. I will continue to shop here regularly.”

“My fiancé and I were on a leisurely stroll through Millbrook and stubbled across this phenomenal shop!!! They were so sweet and allowed us to freely walk around, even though they were about to close. They didn’t rush us in the slightest. I’m literally in awe of this shop and I cannot wait to come back and purchase more!!”

“Stewart's Vassar Road has been our neighborhood pick for fast and friendly service. We gladly pay between eight and $.10 a gallon more for gas because the service is typically wonderful. The store is easy to get around in especially since the expansion a few years ago. Head directly to the back for your fresh, local dairy delights: local milk, and whipping cream are some of our family favorites. We've been living up here for almost 13 years and stop in to Stewart's at least once every week to indulge in their incredibly yummy and luscious premium ice creams and Stewart's brand chips. Having grown up on Wise potato chips, I found it difficult to switch but Stewart Shop's original is a keen rival at a fraction of the price when Wise can't be found. TIP: The little shopping baskets simply will not do because you will not be able to resist the freshly baked donuts and other pantry necessities you forgot you needed. I bring my own shopping bag and alert the staff that I'm using it to fill up then return back to check out. Worth noting that Stewart's is a regional business and I love to support small businesses in the Hudson Valley. MUST HAVES: seasonal specialty flavored ice cream which rival some of the top premium brands. This week was apple pie. If you love apple pie you'll love this one.SHOUT OUT TO TIM, my friendly Stewart's cashier today.”

“You got to love free air pumps that come complementary with Stewart shops. Some shops have the digital air pumps but I think I kind of prefer the old school jammies like this one has”

“Love this family owned chain of gas stations/convenience stores. Their “homemade” ice cream is amazing, some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had (inexpensive, too). We’ve even driven an extra 30 minutes out of our way to get their ice cream (the chocolate-peanut butter is to die for). Their pizza is decent and their donuts are great. Stewart’s has a huge selection of grocery, household and camping items including bait, firewood, etc. They have large, relatively clean bathrooms, too. Love this spot.”

“Not too bad considering it’s a fully automatic car wash. It’s only $8 and does a good job for the most part. The dryer at the end of the wash actually works really well and is really powerful. There are some others in the area that don’t clean as well so I tend to come back to this location. I usually get out and do some spot cleaning afterwards.”

“Great convenient store & Deli!As for the negative reviews listed below ??‍♀️ this has not been my experience. Perhaps this a time of day issue, I only visit in the mornings.Flory’s has always been my go to for a quick breakfast item, always fresh & delicious, as well as great timely & polite service.I also noticed that they are always busy, always cleaning the store and restocking, so the turnover of items is positive.”

“Good prices but can be extremely hectic at peak times. Everyone trying to get a deal on fuel. Would be less chaotic if drivers used pumps in one direction, with pull throughs”

“Very nice stewart's, Andrew really helped me out and gave me the best service possible. He made the best peanut butter pandemonium milkshake i've ever had and he even gave me some tourist information about Poughkeepsie. The lady that was working with Andrew with the curly dark hair was also very kind and insightful. Can't remember her name but she had a great smile, very welcoming.Thank you Andrew and lady which i dont know your name, I will be back to get another milkshake”

“It's the only place around if you have a bad habit of vaping (good assortment)....average price for gas compared to others. The store is pretty clean, and they have a good selection of munchies...and beer. There's never much of a wait, besides the lotto heads playing every number they see...lol. J/K.”

“Convenience store selling refreshments, basic foodstuffs and essential travel gear (i.e., mobile chargers and condoms) and lottery tickets. Hopefully my lotto ticket wins today’s big one so that I can buy more mobile chargers and condoms.”

“I'm so sorry I couldn't come in when you had enough stock of the necessary essentials (which I sure hope you do), but coming in when absolute purchasing of disinfectant sprays was necessary) wasn't so good, and after only a few moments of walking around, really found this place to be rather interesting (in better times). I'll have to buy from a reputable online source because you were out of what I was looking for - through the hogs that came in to devour all disinfectant products that the Northeast now lacks, and I'll try again when I'm in the area the next time - hopefully on better terms soon. Thanks for having really close parking for those who don't have handicapped placards. It wasn't busy when I came in close to closing yesterday, and I used the one spot as a pull-through and felt it was ample in the back of the first row of parking a straight shot from the door. I guess in other times you probably wouldn't be saying that here. Store was clean, and at one point I even noticed a retail clerk servicing shelves in another aisle I didn't need. I do guess that things will look up soon but you'll expect to see me in when things clear up.”

“Just want to compliment Shakira, who works in the photo department. She is an asset to Walgreens! Her patience, kindness, and helpfulness, with myself, and another customer, was above and beyond what she needed to do. Thank you, and the world needs more Shakiras.”

“TOTAL-31/2 stars rounded up. This little gas station is short on real estate but big on CONVENIENCE: Grab'nGo food and beverage options, and a gentleman with a lovely attitude earns 5 stars. LOCATION: Red Oaks Mills intersection at Spackenkill, Vassar, 376/New Hackensack. Deduct a 1/2 star for the inferior Dunkin' Donuts that is on site (which sells stale donuts and requires waiting in a second transaction and line). PARKING: Entering and exiting is tight and a bit complicated-careful. There is no drive through and very limited parking and the large. GAS PRICING: The day I visited, gas prices at the pump were 10 cents lower than three neighboring stations. RATE: Star reduction for the really tight parking squeeze and price sign that is often not working. In other words, you need to actually pull up to the pump to see the prices.”

“I find it unfathomable anyone would give this place less than 5 stars. Superb selection of merchandise (including items one wouldn't expect a gas station to have and would be pleasantly surprised) and lovely service. Oh, did I mention an immaculate bathroom? I will specifically stop at this station on any future road trip!!”

“I have been coming here for many years because its the nearest to my house. That usually has been very nice and helpful. The place is kept clean and neat. I will add that the picture of rite aid shown here is not of this rite aid but the one on Main Street in Poughkeepsie.”
