so upset and disappointed that I had to double back and give another terrible review! dropped my work truck off to these folks after just buying the truck from a mechanic that I know personally so there's no way I would ever have a concern about it being no mechanically sound! secondly I worked the snow storm this year (2024) for 5 days straight without never turning the vehicle off while plowing. just to take it to this place and allow them to keep it for 3 weeks for a plow replacement, oil change and exhaust work. I legit got the vehicle back and it broke down 45 minutes later, the mechanic said that it looked like someone had been messing with the engine because things were missing. HOW? when the vehicle was in your possession. super upset about this, if you have the patience to read this review, stay far away from the place.

Was recommended to this shop by a family friend. Dropped off my work truck and received it 3 weeks later in worse shape than ever! Paid for minor repairs to get done to an older year truck that just hit 100k and was mechanic owned. Just to have this place totally sabotage my vehicle, the check engine light is on, it shakes like it’s about to clunk out any moment, reeks of coolant, has drag when turning now. And after speaking to an individual named Nick, nothing has been done, no accountability was taken. Nick advised that “looks like someone has been messing with your engine “ his exact words. And this is after the 3 weeks that the shop had the vehicle. I will not be recommending that anyone use this shop for any mechanical repairs, maybe they are only good at fixing transmissions. Whatever the case is, the experience has been dreadful.

I took my Dodge Challenger here. The clutch was sticking, after a day or so they had it working perfectly. They even inspected it for me! Not hoping to be a repeat customer, but if I have more car issues they will be my first call.Service: Transmission

They were able to assist with my 57 Chevy, very knowledgeable and were able to explain exactly why I was having issues. Didn’t require repairs however they did not charge me for putting it up on the lift and doing a diagnostic check. Came highly recommended by another transmission shop and they didn’t disappoint!

My Car was there for them to replace my Transmission, I received it back and it left me stranded within 20 miles of driving it. Had to pay for a tow truck to get it back there. To find out it was the transfer case the whole time that they never checked. There employees took it on a test drive and my coolant leaked everywhere because one of there employees cut a line during the process. When I got the car back it didn’t last a day. They but a defective transfer case in and once again had to tow it back to the shop. I got my car back with Absolutely nothing but problems that they refuse to fix. I do not recommend this shop at all. They have ruined my car.Service: Transmission

It's not possible to please everyone & people should understand that. In my case however, I can say that the people at Transmission Exchange (Especially Joe) took care of my car when no one else would touch it. There is a way to know if a business or product is good or not. Many places or products give you either a short return of guarantee (for example two weeks or 30 days) that being said, when a place or product gives you something more you know that they believe in their product and their work. After taking care of my transmission I ask my son to ask what kind of warranty came with the work. He told me and showed me on the receipt that it was one years or 12, 000 miles. IMO, I believe that Joe and the others and Transmission Exchange do what they can to have customers that will spread the word of how good they are and that they are the best people for the Job. They also do whatever they can to make sure that they have made customers for life and I proud to say that I am now one of them.MDService: Transmission

My best friend took his car here & walked away with even more problems than he had when he brought the car in to get serviced. Highly recommend finding somewhere more reliable. Having to fix a car a week or so after it was allegedly “fixed” is 1,000,000% unacceptable & unprofessional!!!!
