Do NOT use M&T Bank!!! My 97 year old WWII veteran father has been a loyal customer for decades. His bank card was recently stolen and the thief took $20K!!! No M&T claims that they won't replace the $ because every transaction was considered "authorized" due to the fact that it used his debit card. M&T did NOTHING to secure his account and never shut it down when the system saw unauthorized transactions! Now my 96 yr old dad on a fixed income is out $20K! If he didn't have another account, he'd be on the streets!!! These people are the worst!!! Never use M&T Bank!

Not a fan of this particular branch. The personal bankers are rude and won’t acknowledge you unless they have to. The tellers are friendly but move in slow motion.

I've had the pleasure with working with Sarah at the 490 Dorrance Avenue branch in regards to opening a new bank account for my new business. Despite the complexity of my business, I was extremely impressed with her professionalism, and the positive attitude to get things done for us. She was genuinely interested in developing a relationship with her clients, and I would highly recommend this branch.

Good AFternoon: First i would like to begin this particular branch was not where my problem happened. I was unable to locate the corporate headquarters but the Buck Stop there. I purchased a car and for some unknown reason the loan went throughM and T bank, I had never even heard of this bank. I received the first payment request in October and I specifically said I wanted automatice deduct every month. I received the paper work anad promptly returned it to the bank in a self adressed envelope. I never heard a word from this institution so I assumed everything was taken care of,definetly not the case.Had I not gone through my bank statement I would have totally missed the payment by even longer. I do not do business this way and don't care to do business this way. To think that the girl was going to charge me a late fee are you kidding me???????/It is M and T fault that it was not deducted from my account and by the way where is all that private information? It never came back to me in the mail, and where was the bill to pay it if you never rececived the other. I hate that I have to do business with this bank for 5 years, I would never in a million years chose this institution. Lisa

M&T has been my friend for over six years. They gave me the money i needed to buy my home and they did it at the lowest interest rate around. Awesome bank and this location in general is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend that before you take out a loan or mortgage you check with these guys first. My money guy is Alex Long and he is super easy to talk to and helpfull. Worthy of mention that most locations have a drive thru and will give your pets a treat. Super nice and now my dog gets excited to pay the bills! (That makes one of us) :P
