While the young lady at a paint store we purchased a Zar wood stain brand knew her shtick, it was me who was dissatisfied with the orange hue our brand new raw wood doors took on. We knew we had to go with what we know and that's Minwax- that's not sold at Herzog's- but instead at Sherwin Williams. Sherwin Williams consistently lives up to the their product and that's why we love the paint here and everything else that comes along with it. These folks are located on Albany Ave in Kingston and open really early in the morning- something my husband and I liked- especially since we come to our home in the Catskills on weekends. The space is well-kept, service is professional, price is fine and it's simple to get to.

Knowledgeable staff very friendly at the Kingston store and nailed the color that we were trying to find where Lowe's and Home Depot could not. The only suggestion that I would make is that satin and eggshell should not be the same color they should differentiate between the name satin and eggshell because this caused some confusion to our contractor and to us which caused some needless running around

Went in on a few occasions, loaned a few books a couple times a week at a time; even sat there with family and looked through and made a list of wallpapers I was interested in. I gave the list , never ever heard back . I did a personal follow up, and was apologized too and that I will receive a call. Went today, a week or so later . Mike had No clue. Retrieved a book with a note tagged to one wallpaper print with my info. I asked if anything was done with any of my things stated , he said No . That entire process was a waste of time! To many hoops. Honestly they couldn't be less bothered. I'm not sure if the stores going out of business and that's why Nobody could be bothered with me . What a shame. I'm completely irritated, it's time for wallpaper and I need to find a store that can provide service.

The best paint products on the planet combined with knowledgeable and helpful staff, makes this Albany ave Sherwin-Williams location a premium shopping experience. If you consider yourself a professional painter, DIYer wanting professional finishes or completely new to painting and have a ton of questions then this is the place for you. dont waste your time at a big box store counters you have to shop here. They are not just paint this location has a giant selection of tools,ladders, brushes, joint compound s , paint sprayers and more they even have tool rental. What more could you ask for.

I went in to get a custom paint match for trim in my kitchen to match the cabinet color.The sales person was very knowledgable and knew exactly what to do.The total experience was exceptional and I had my gallon of paint in hand in under 20 minutes.Great customer service and experience

They have all types of paint and products to get the job done. You may pay a little more for what you need,but sometimes it's better to spend a little more. Being cheap is not always good.
