So, Sharp Transmission tells me my car is at risk of dying and I should get rid of it ("Get another car", he told me). I take it to the dealer and the dealer says, "No problem" - and then encourages me to spend nearly $2,000 on fixes, which I do. Only to find out within a couple months the dealer says my car is a danger and it will take another nearly $2,000 to fix. WTF???. I should have listened to Sharp Transmission. He went out of his way to help me. He was careful and prompt and since then I've taken my car to Sharp and been extremely satisfied. BTW, nothing to do with my transmission. I did get another car and I'll be taking it to Sharp. Great place. Honest and helpful. Highly recommend.

The service my family experienced was such a disappointment. The man that assisted was very condescending and undermining. Treated my family like we couldn't pay... We have the money no problem and took our business elsewhere.

Been seeing Milt and his crew for years now. I simply won't go anywhere else. Honest, competent, kind and thorough. They're always upfront about any issues and will be the first ones to suggest which minor repairs have time to be addressed with safety being the first concern. If you have 60% life in your break-pads, they'll be the first ones to show you and advise when you should change them out. In the 6 or 7 years I've been going to see them, each estimate I've been given has been 100% right on with no surprises. Their work is impeccable. End of story. Thank you.Services: Vehicle Inspection

Our car broke down in Poughkeepsie and because of a transmission issue. We had the car towed to Sharp because it was local to us. Milt was thorough and clear on problems and the cost for parts and labor. Forgetting the breakdown, the repair at Sharp was an excellent experience. I am definitely coming back to maintain my car. It’s great to have a good local mechanic. Thank You Sharp!
