There is one particularly rude older woman who works behind the counter. She has yelled at me on the phone for not having the rx number in front of me (never an issue anywhere else or here before either) and told me an rx cannot be filled if a specific brand is required. Except, the dr writes this brand in the rx, and I’ve been filling it here this way for almost 2 years. She caused unneeded worry and confusion, and the other woman who took over for her admitted she didn’t know what she was talking about. Trying to fill and rx in person, she couldn’t find the digital rx, and when after standing there listening to her read out old rx orders for 10 min, said I’d call the dr’s office she snapped t me to “calm down”. She never did find it, but a pharmacist took over and found it in under a minute. She’s so rude, this is the last time I’ll be dealing with Neko Dedricks. It’s ridiculous and this nonsense doesn’t happen anywhere else.

I will give them four stars based on their helping me get an rx that I was unable to get from my designated pharmacy. I took one star off for the rudeness of the cashier (despite my being very plesant toward her.)That being said, I cannot help but wonder if businesses bother to read their Google reviews (because they really should.) Customer service has taken a complete nosedive across the board, and it is not acceptable. Employees who are consistently rude to consumers should be reprimanded and, if they continue with bad behaviors, they should be fired.How can people support the only privately-owned and operated pharmacy in Kingston if the cashier and nurse are behaving in the manner repeatedly cited in these comments?People coming to a pharmacy are more than likely already dealing with at least one health-related problem ...why make their day even worse by disrespecting them?I do not understand this rudeness, especially toward people who are, in essence, paying their wages by patronizing the business where they work.

I wanted to switch my pharmacy to Nekos from a large chain company that was until today when I had a script of a common medication that I had run out of. I was told by Nekos they don't have it and never will even from the manufacturer Very disappointing

Excellent service! Personal and helpful. Above and beyond any box store. Neko's is the best pharmacy in Kingston and probably the county. Truly cannot compare to any other pharmacy. Highest recommendation! I have been a satisfied customer for many years. I am a very complicated patient and client. They go out of their way to help me all the time. They said I get more prescriptions than any other patient but they work it out for me every time. They have directly contacted my doctor, wrote letters to try to help me etc. The other products they have like humidifiers and canes and Ace bandages are the same price as box stores. I know they can do some special orders especially for assistive devices. Plus they have some good old timey things no one carries like my grandmother's weird lip stuff she loves. My family has been in Kingston for many many generations and all of us have been clients of Neko's for as long as they've been open. I will remain a client as long as they stay open. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are a better choice than any other alternative. Shop local! Go to Nekos!

“The Nurse” at this store lacks even the basic human ability to be kind to another person let alone a paying customer. Impatient, rude & condescending. I confronted her about her behavior in front of the guy that sits at the front desk and he gets up and walks away instead of assisting and intervening. I guess this behavior is the norm here from reading other reviews.

I think this business is great in that it has a lot that one might need. My first time there I went in for a fitting of an ankle brace and the “nurse” who did my fitting was so impatient, rude and condescending. I don’t know her name but she has short, white hair, She really didn’t want to help me understand how to put the brace on, hurried me along rudely and then when I commented on her behavior kindly she just denied it. Very poor costumer service. I would rather watch a YouTube video about how to wear it rather than being subjected to her.

They are the only pharmacy that I actually trust and don't feel judged or treated poorly. They don't take coupons ; as far as I know but I dont care....I'll pay just for the excellent customer service experience. Go here, help them stay right where they've been forever. They rulz.

This place is the worst. The blonde lady with glasses is down right rude and extremely mean. She straight lies, is totally unprofessional and is down right mean and nasty. I went to this place for years, it sucks they have such a piece of garbage working there
