I have never waited less than 15 minutes in line at the pharmacy and I'm currently on hold for 45 minutes. I think they have staffing issues. Pay people more and you won't have staffing issues!

Utterly intolerable. The situation is complex, however. Much like Walgreens and other big box pharmacies, the staff are egregiously overworked and poorly compensated for their expertise. This leads to plummeting employee satisfaction which in turn creates a startlingly abysmal customer experience. I needn't elaborate on the latter since any of you who frequent this type of pharmacy are well aware of the long lines, mix ups, and sharp-tongued staff. Again, the employees are actually probably very nice people -- they're simply waaay overworked and poorly compensated. After spending all the tuition money and time to get a Pharm.D. why would anyone elect to work in a corporate warehouse? Kind of sad, really. The problem is the paucity of independent family-owned pharmacies. These are where I go and the experience is shockingly better.

Waited 45 mins in drive through for a prescription called in at 10:00am. Was told they would expedite my order and to pick up in 15 minutes. Came back fifteen minutes later and they told me the store was closing at 7 and i could not get my prescription. I showed them my phone time at 6:55 and they said they wouldnt have time. No prescription for my 2 yr old until sunday

Slowest phamacy ever. One person working. Two speeds. Slow and stop. But I will say this location is better than Woodstock. Edit. It is as bad as Woodstock. What an unorganized and indifferent staff. Rude and dismissive

Keep messing up prescription and had refused to acknowledge doctors new script. This is the only CVS I have issues with. Two techs mess up script when dispensing and 75% of the time they are rude.

A one because less can't give less. I have a thyroid medicine due to the cancer radiation I had over twenty years ago. My insurance for some reason will now only let me get 3 months supplies through CVS. I can't use Walgreens or others. A bit ridiculous since I will take that little pill every morning until I'm on the other side of the dirt. I didn't want to go to the pharmacy every month particularly since I travel. Like an idiot I decided to use CVS for other short term medicines. I always wait in line. Often there is trouble with the script not with the thyroid one yet. This last time I had a wisdom tooth pulled and Amoxicillin was subscribed. It was a Friday. I wait in line and they are out of amoxicillin. They didn't call or text me me nor advise the doctor. Instead I stood in line. The tech sent me to THE Consultation desk at which I wait in line. He said he could call Walgreens. So I said then call them, I need the script to avoid infection. He was on the phone but Walgreens didn't answer. I called my Dentist office at the same time and they said come back we'll give enough to get through the weekend. I advised the CONSULTANT I have enough to get through the weekend. Of course that was after waiting in line again. I asked will you have it Monday. It's ordered and shouldn't be a problem. Monday I stopped by around noon and luckily it was't busy. 1st time ever. I was advised they can't fill it even though they have the amoxicillin because they already transferred it to Walgreens. They didn't text or call me. This is but one incident. Needless to say no short term medicines will go through CVS ever again and I'll work on alternatives for the thyroid medicine. By the way, when I went I picked up the weekend supply from the dentist the receptionist said CVS is the worst. She should know. Lesson learned. Update: I called Walgreens to see if the script was ready. CVS sent them nothing. Walgreens then called CVS to get the script. After a few hours Walgreens called me to advise they got the script and went to fill it but couldn't because it was filled at Nekos Pharmacy. They apparently sent to there. This may be the worse I had with CVS but I've had others. Unless you have no choice avoid CVS, at least this CVS like covid 19.

frustrating experiences with this pharmacyI was in the drive through for about 15 minutes waiting and when I finally got to the window the pharmacist or tech was saying that one of my medications wasn't available and the other.... Well that was a mystery I couldn't understand what he was saying. It truly sounded like like gibberish. He kept moving his face away from the phone when he would be speaking or moving the phone away from his face like he was so exhausted he couldnt hold his body upright and was just sliding down and the phone was going up the side of his face if that makes any sense. Slouching over in the window of the drive through pharmacy with the window closed like a teenager who didn't want to be working because he was too hungover.Everytime I told him I couldn't hear him and didn't understand him he never repeated himself. No matter how many times I asked him what? Can you say that again? he would say some other unintelligible thing. He got frustrated and told me I needed to come inside so they could look at my whole chart I said No! Then I saw someone walk behind him and I yelled hey help! please help us! I was on my way to my friends house and just wanted to grab this medication quickly and get going and this was now turning into a neverending nightmare. the pharmacist behind him stopped they conversed and she started talking very slowly to me like I was a problem person. She said that my one medication they did not have I said right I understand that but what is the name of the medication? (Good info to know right?) and she said creon and I was like, ok and she said and the other medication; cyclobenzaprine it's too early to fill. I said I wasn't looking for that medication Totally confused where that had even come from. I had just picked up my refill for that the week before. how or why they even had that med pulled up on the screen is beyond me. I said I am not even looking for that medication. She said what medication are you looking for I said I am looking for Zoloft and she said we didn't get that rx yet from your dr he didn't send it see if he can send it. Ok was that so hard to say? was that so outrageous that I supposedly needed to exit my car and go look at my full chart inside? and the icing on the top of the cake my zoloft rx was called in by my drs office 3 days earlier! and totally should have been filled and ready by the time of this miserable trip through the drive in window. I have been out of 2 important medications now because of cvs in Kingston I don't know if they just didn't know where it was lost it messed it up or put it in as cyclobenzaprine. I'm just switching pharmacies they are completely incompetent and rude about their incompetence. If you are going to tell someone their medication is not available tell them what medication it is. that's the bare minimum. If someone says I can't hear you I didnt understand you repeat yourself! thats the minimum as well. This place can't reach the bare minimums just avoid this place

Every time I get text saying prescription is ready for pick up, I go to store and they say they are working on it. Come back in 15!! Got text last night. And here we sit waiting. Worst pharmacy ever. Their app is a total waste of time. Their staff tries. But that doesn't make up for bad business plan

Been coming here for years to get scripts filled but I think Im done. They are so backed up everytime I come and their brown bag system is so unorganized. Yesterday, the person was going from bin to bin to bin looking for the script that I was told was filled 30 mins ago. Counter person was frustrated and borderline rude and not caring when I made a comment about their "organization." Can wait 20 mins everytime I pickup a script

Rx filled correctly and available when needed. However, the vials are much larger than necessary with corresponding lids; and the lids are so tight even a normal adult cannot open them sometimes. They are too wide for a pliers; I broke the last one open with a hammer. Need smaller vials and lids along with enough staff to respond to phone calls within 5 min.

I've held off from writing a review for about a year. Unfortunately this is the closest CVS to my home and the most convenient. I have to say this will be the last month and the last straw with this place. Every month my scripts are sent here and without a doubt there is ALWAYS an issue, if not an issue, be sure to expect a rude disrespectful interaction whether it be via phone or actual face value. I just called to have a script filled which I've only been taking for 3 months, each month It's always sent from my doctors office to be filled on the 3rd. My mistake, February has 28 days, and It's not ready yet, but damn you'd think you can at least get a word out without being rudely cut of or interrupted, when I explained they have made multiple mistakes and I'm still trying to be respectful and they should do the same I was hit with " Well I have 10 other calls right now" great, and maybe you wouldn't be so short staffed all off the time if you guys weren't so disgustingly rude. I'm SO over stressing my monthly trip to the pharmacy. I'm pretty sure apart of their job, is to be HELPFUL, KIND AND RESPECTFUL. If you're looking for any of those things here you wont find it. Happy to say I'll be sending all of my scripts to Woodstock CVS from here on out, driving completely out of my way, but at least I'll be treated like a human being. Like how lame do you have to be for someone to take time out of their day to write a negative review about a pharmacy? Learn some respect, for real. Or maybe quit your job?

Echoing other sentiments with the nightmare COVID tests here. I cannot express how rude and belittling the pharmacist was to me here. It took him 30 minutes to even acknowledge me at the window and the cars behind backed up to Washington Avenue. When other people began to get out of their cars, walking up to the drive-in, he then blamed the back up on me, saying I 'refused to roll down my window'. Buddy....I'm here to get a COVID test, why on earth would I make this process longer? Why would I roll down my window when in the past I've been told to keep it up? He did not explain the self-testing to me at all so who knows if my tests will be accurate. Such an awful experience that I am rerouting my business to other drugstores in the area. A serious nightmare that is pure short story fodder.

My wife and I got COVID-19 tested here in advance of seeing my parents for Thanksgiving. We both got negative test results within 3 days which emboldened us to make the trip. 7 Days later, my wife gets an email saying that her results were erroneous, and that the sample was never even sent to the lab. This rightfully terrified us, so we followed up. What followed was a maddening Kafka-esque journey to the depths of customer service hell. Nobody had answers. Nobody took any responsibility. Nobody seemed to care. Avoid this place like COVID.

Giant CVS. So big you may go in, and look for your family. Shelves need restocking. Chocolate bins are empty. Rebel review: 4
