Went to Kenco vision today and was told the person that who does the glasses was away for awhile so we would have to have the exam that we waited for over a month for and after exam could schedule a time to come back at the end of the month when he came back then wait an unknown amount of time to get the glasses. That is insane! Ive never heard of waiting over a month for glasses. Then the very rude receptionist after we said we were leaving said good luck finding somebody to take your insurance we dont want your business anyways. I used to go to Kenco for lots of stuff. I will NEVER step foot in there again not even the store. They should not allow such a rude person talk to customers that way.

Lack of knowledgeable techs and even worse is a business owner who allows dangerous equipt. To go out the door like that. Spend your money on the internet folks This place doesn't back their sales or service anymore than Amazon

All I can say is WOW! First, I never even knew they were there and I am so glad I found them. What an incredible staff! Extremely thorough exam with top of the line equipment. Jim, the optician, was phenomenal. No pressure sales, just high quality care. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Archery department staff is highly knowledgeable. Department is stocked with up to date archery equipment and supplies for bow hunting and the avid target shooter.

Bought my kid an osprey pack here. The associate was super knowledgeable and very friendly. They helped us up until closing and even past the closing time. Highly recommend them.

I was looking for an eye doctor in the area and I was very happy when I tried to make an appointment they had a cancellation and were able to see me the following week. Kayla at the front desk is super helpful and friendly and the Drs. are very kind and professional. I loved that he made sure my glasses fit properly and took the time to make adjustments if needed. I highly recommend coming here! Thank you guys for the awesome service!

Had a great experience at Kenco. Got me set up with all the gear I needed for my fly fishing experience. Very helpful and friendly staff. Winter, my sales associate was knowledgeable and went out of his way to get me the gear I needed. I also took my first fly fishing lesson and caught my first fish in the on-site pond. The store is extensive and offers all sorts of outdoor sports gear.

I was looking for a high end axe and saw that Kenco was the closest place to me that actually had them in stock I called them to verify that they in fact had them and they had 15. I was glad they had a big selection to choose from as I wanted to pick a particular grain of wood and color shade of the handle. This may seem insignificant but when you are spending $180 you should get exactly what you want. So I figured I'd make a weekend out of it with my girlfriend. After spending a nice day in Woodstock we went the next day to the store. I've heard so many great reviews on this place and the only thing I can agree on with the reviews is that they have a big selection of very nice stuff but that's where I part ways with the good reviews and side with the bad. The reviews about the staff not caring about customers. They are spot on. After looking around the store for about 15-20 minutes I asked where the axes were and was directed to their location. After waiting at the counter for a few minutes and mind you we were the only customers there, the salesgirl seated on a stool looking at her phone never asked if we needed help, I asked her could you help us to which she got up and seemed bothered. I got the feeling my business was neither wanted or appreciated. She looked on the wall and said they didn't have it. I had to inform her that there were 15 in stock. Without saying a word and acting like I interrupted a life saving surgery she walked into the back room and came out with 2. If I knew I would not be offered more choices I could have just ordered it on line from another authorized dealer. One of them looked like it was chipped. I asked if she had more I could choose from. In a huff she went in the back again and came out with a box with the rest but still didn't say a word. We picked one, she rang it up and left it on the counter, besides the fact it was pouring rain out, no offer of a bag? My girlfriend had to ask for one and she placed it in the bag herself. After driving 140 miles each way to give them business I was totally turned off by their lack of customer service. I don't know if they think they can treat people like s*** just because they have what you need, but I would rather do without than ever give them my business again. The only reason I gave it even one star was because zero was not offered.

I came because my glasses broke and no other shops were open. Jim was super nice and fixed my glasses really fast (around 10 minutes- maybe under)! Thank you so much!

I been a patient of Kenco for 2 years now and I am so happy with them. They are so kind and so professional. Recently I had two eye infections which were so painful and they got me in immediately and treated me with compassion and cured me in a surprisingly timely manner.I’m also diabetic and during my routine exams the doctor explains to me in layman’s term my prognosis and makes sure I completely understand that prognosis.I also get my eyeglasses from Jim who is the optometrist there and he is an expert in helping me get the right size and style for me! His patience and friendly personality makes it a fun experience.I highly recommend Kenco for all the reasons above and much more.
