Stopped in to get a couple of birthday presents for my son, and Kate and Sarah of them were amazingly helpful! Gave me some recommendation based on what my kid likes, and we’re super nice and personable. I asked for advice on VR headsets and have their thoughts and personal experiences, while taking the extra effort to see what was in stock. They were both super cool!

Had a great variety of gaming products on the shelves and though it was quiet, the front desk person was great!
Worked with me for three days straight to help me sell a console and controllers I was trying to sell during, apparently, peak trading in season! It wasn't easy, but we worked it out in the end!
If I'm ever in the Kingston area again in need of ANY gaming wares or game consoles/video games, I'll DEFINITELY make sure to drop on by again! Thanks for your patience and support, I really do appreciate it! ?

Apparently this location has an issue with knowing what time they are supposed to open and close. I waited there for over an hour today for them to open. Gates were down at 11:11AM......waited....11:45AM I see the guy walk in, close the gates again. All I was doing was picking up one item that was already paid for, my boss alerted corporate to the situation while I and a few other people were also waiting for them to open.When I finally asked the employee what the issue was, I was told the delay was because he got into a car accident. After reading the rest of the comments, it seems like this is not a unique incident and this location has no sense of opening or closing times. When I asked to speak to a manager about the fact they had wasted my time, I was informed the manager was not there.I requested the manager be called, and I relayed that corporate had opened a file about the matter, and they said the store would compensate me for my wasted hour. The manager Matt F, proceeded to give me the "blah blah blah" run around from the comfort of his home, and then had the audacity to tell me to "leave the store" a few times over speaker phone.Apparently his authority must have an effect on people that actually play video games, I proceeded to laugh at him and promptly told his employee to hang up on his useless manager Matt F, whom seems to be entirely ignorant as to how the real world operates.After reading all the comments about how terrible they treat customers at this location, I decided to leave this review. The employees here are beyond inept at how customer service actually works. If you don't want to open up on time and help customers, stay home and play video games.A customer should not have to make an employee cry before he is willing to do the right thing. Matt F. I hope corporate makes you cry after reading all these comments from irate customers. Because you are obviously NOT management material, and if anyone needs to leave the store it is YOU Matt F.To the employee that had to deal with my wrath, I do not apologize. You could've de-escalated the situation way sooner. Thankfully, you did the right thing in the end. Because I would still be standing there in front of you making your life miserable.Riling me up all over Pokemon cards, what a silly world this is. Learn to do your jobs correctly Kingston GameStop employees.Your location is not the busiest, and you should be grateful for the little business you manage to bring in. Keep acting the way you are Matt F. and those gates are going to be closed permanently.

Was horrible!! There was a the most lazy guy I ever met, who didn't help me with my Q. About videos!!! So I didn't buy anything, days later I went back and there was a young girl, same attitude, she wasn't helpful, she was there with the guy, but they were more concerned about theirs own chat, then costumers, I bought a couple games anyway, because I need them for my nephew's birthday, and there were not another store to go. Thank God, my nephew loves the video games and I didn't have to go back and return them!! I spent about $90.00; next time I will go somewhere else place, to buy!!!
