if you want your kid in mini mites to be ignored and not coached and a practice squad for the travel team, this is the place for you. If you also want some old kid not 7 and under skating, puck handliing and passing with a coach that is supposed to be helping your kid...this is the place for you.
do not recommend. go to the rinx, one session there and my kid improved

Don't order food from the snack bar. I ordered the chicken tenders on separate occasions and they came out pink in the middle both times. Somebody could get seriously ill if they don't notice.

Always great staff and fun for the kids. Very clean and organized. Pro shop is very helpful and well stocked and prices are reasonable.

For starters I went with my wife and her family, but my wife didn't want to skate, and they refused to let her stay and watch. The employees were extremely rude and unprofessional from the moment we arrived. Secondly after this we decided to just wait in the parking lot until they finished, but my wife had to use the restroom where their rudeness only got worse as they turned her away from even using the restroom. It's a nice rink, but the employees are completely unprofessional and rude.

This place has been here for years! Now I get to see my little nephews learn how to play ice hockey. They love it! Their coaches are great and the kids all look like they are having a blast. Both made teams now, yay! My little niece also had ice skating lessons here. Also great! The place serves its purpose. Bleachers on one side of the rink, there are heating lamps but they aren't always on nor are all of them on at one time. It can definitely get cold in there while watching practice or a game. There is a concession stand that when open serves some decent snacks! The kids enjoy ordering the warm chocolate chip cookies! It can get very busy at times. There are bathrooms and locker rooms.

Not the most modern rink but it has the necessary amenities. Got here an hour early for a hockey game and got to watch the giants do their best to blow a game.

Just had my daughter's 11th birthday there. The party host (Taylor) was so nice and helpful. All the attendees enjoyed their time skating and the food arrived smoothly and the pizza was delish.

This shop is a sub-shop of their main hockey shop at The Rinx in Hauppauge. The great thing about this little shop is you get the absolute best customer service any shop can often. I highly suggest visiting Superior Pro Shop if you are in the area, They can have products transferred from their main shop at any time.

Always a fun time here. Been coming here for over 15 years now and can't wait to teach my 2 year old how to ice skate here. Friday can be a little nuts with the crowds of local kids but still worth coming for the music. For a more family environment I'd recommend coming on Sundays..oh and to bring your own skates! The ones they rent out are pretty uncomfortable. Will be purchasing hockey skates for me and my sister very soon. We plan to come here every Friday.

Good house league hockey for the kids and home to the LI Royals. Free wifi when you're here waiting for kids to finish skating. I haven't figured out yet when the concession stand is open. Sometimes the place will be packed with people in the middle of the day and the concession is closed. So I would recommend bringing your own food & drinks. Port Jeff Sports also runs the pro shop there, with OK selection of hockey gear.

Also* The "Nike" skates are not Nike at all. They're some other brand. They should just call them Hockey Skates.
