Consolidated Communications provides the most unreliable, inconsistent internet service. I have had a ticket out since 12/4 and received ZERO contact from the company, despite being promised a callback from a technician within 48 hours. I have called and called and visited the local office to no end. I am paying $85/month and receiving no internet. It is absolutely worthless.

Amazing customer service- sadly miss the many local employees once there, but the ones remaining couldn't be better! Reliable service (internet and landline) for both business and home. No promises of super cheap prices only to be raised significantly (as offered by some competitors) Reasonable and consistent.

Internet connection sucks. Always so slow and customer service always takes at least 30 min to get someone on the phone and no one is ever able to help. I should just move to spectrum already

for $35 a month ($20 plus taxes), I get nowhere that amount of value. A monopoly should not be charging this much for basic landline service, or offer a basic service for $10/month that doesn't have required features. They would make a lot more money by gaining a lot of customers with that pricing.

I wish I could give zero stars. Internet comes and goes all the time. The repair guy came out today and everything was supposedly good to go after he replaced the modem. Less than 10 minutes after he left it went out again. For $105 a month it should work better than it does. You should change your name to hack and whack cable.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Was bounced around 3 times to different customer service reps over an hour time. The 2 last ones I had would only talk over me when stating my issue. Poor services, both with internet and customers.

I have been a customer for over 3 years. Recently Consolidated admitted to overcharging me for my services for the duration of that time. My service goes down frequently. Phone goes out every other week or so, for several days at a time and internet goes out daily - sometimes just minutes but often long periods. I was expecting a technician here to upgrade my service last Thursday (Nov 11) and I even spoke with two representatives that day who confirmed the appointment. No one showed up and no one called. I called yesterday and talked to Support who assured me that I was on the ‘High-priority’ list and a technician would come between 4-6pm that day Monday (Nov 15). No one showed up and no one called. Everyone I talk to is nice and professional but there is no follow through. Possibly the worst brand experience ever.

A mixed bag. When it worked it was fine, and I always had good experiences with customer service. However, when there was lightning in the area, which is happening with increasing frequency, more often than not my service went down. Usually it came back with re-booting the modem, which is a nuisance, but sometimes it took several tries and a couple of times it took an extended amount of time. I never called for technical service so I can’t say how helpful (or not) they are. The bottom line is that we felt that we had to switch from their DSL to Spectrum digital, and I do have to say they gave me no trouble about canceling. Sorry to have to leave after 35 years with them and their predecessors, but really no choice.

I really like Consolidated. I have been with (Fairpoint, Verizon) before they sold to Consolidated. I do everything through the internet, streaming video, putting my phone through Basic Talk from Walmart etc.They had to come last week Friday to find out why I had no service. Long story short the construction crew working at the property where I live cut my wire. Nick was here at 8 am. Checked out my modem and was here with another man when I returned home. They had to string a new wire to the building I live in from the street.Great customer service the night before with the trouble shooter, and great customer service from the service tech. I was back up and running within 24 hours.

Consolidated is a nightmare!! Really one of the worst internet providers. I have had spotty service for going on a full week; every time I speak to someone (often after a long wait) they tell me something different. No technician has yet to contact us and supervisors are useless. Avoid at all possible costs!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Cable TV service is terrible. Different channels go out every week. If this happens and not fixed by end of day Friday it will not be fixed before Monday. When you call they can not tell you anything. Customer service is useless. Been without channel 13 ( Olympic channel )since Thursday evening. I reported it Thursday evening. It is now Friday evening and nobody can tell me anything except the repair ticket is still open. I would never recommend this company for any service.

I tried getting internet and phone set up In a rural town in Maine. The fastest they offer here is 20 mbps....okay...no problem, I'll deal with it. When I okayed the setup they come back to me with a 30 day wait...then told me I could flag down a truck to see if they had time to install, after I told them I see them in my area all the time. When I asked to talk to a supervisor, the supervisor tells me it's not true. I also asked the supervisor how long it would take them if it was a repair call. She says a day or two...but a 30 day wait for fresh install?I just bought my house and at the time I didnt realize they ran fiber in my area. I would have canceled as soon as I found out, but that's not the point...30 days is ludacris and completely unacceptable. I also find that lying to a customer to shut him up unacceptable. Shame on you.To Consolidated - Do not bother writing back to this review with an apology. I do not accept. You are getting terrible reviews for a reason.To anyone reading this attempting to get service - Pay attention to not just this review, but everyone else's.To all.....you can only blame coronavirus for so much....
