“I have a pup that is really reactive and fearful and they did great with him. He used to have to be sedated and we have officially been able to go two visits with getting a muzzle on him and using at home sedation.. Dr. Sood is great with the pups and really LISTENS to the owners about their dog.”

“i am beyond impressed with the care and patience offered to me by Karen at mcclellan animal hospital.. my dog ceazer is NOT currently a patient but i had called to see if i could get a second opinion on a problem i've been having with my pup cuz i feel like my current vet is not helping much.. i wasn't able to get a quick appt..which is totally understandable.. but Karen spent time listening to me and offering more help than my long term vets have ever offered... i am just so thankful and grateful.... service like that doesn't exist much anymore...just so above and beyond.. i appreciate the kindness.”
“Had an awesome experience since the first call to them! Definitely would recommend this place as the care they gave my baby (cat) was outstanding! Pricing was great, staff did all they had to because my baby can get mischievous and they still managed him well, place was super clean, everyone was super nice!! “The staff are very kind and knowledgable. My rescue dog Hugo had dental surgery the other day. He is nervous around new people and the staff here treated him great and made him feel at ease.He had two teeth removed and he’s doing great. They explained everything that was going on pre surgery and post surgery. They were detailed in showing us his x-rays and calling after his x-rays to left us know if his teeth could be saved or not.I’m very glad I was referred to Dr. Hanson!”

“I just love Buffalo Small Animal Hospital’s, new offices! They are incredibly spacious and bright. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I love the paw plan where my dog gets a dental cleaning every year. No issues this year at all! I like staying on top of her dental health as An important part of her overall health. Thank you!”
“Dr. Parisi has been treating my two dogs for two years and has done a fantastic job. He caught an early heart murmur in one of them and we were able to get him on early medication to prolong his life. He has a great relationship with the dogs by having a calm vibe and always has treats on hand to make sure the dogs have the best experience possible in what can be a stressful time.The parking isn't the best due to the location, but that's not on the Dr.”

He would always tell us that she was a beautiful dog in peak condition and I wish we could have taken her there right before she died but circumstances prevented us and the vet who helped us end her suffering didn't even send us a conference card after we paid them to end her suffering from an inoperable brain tumor ?”
“My first visit was impressive. My dog was very sick and the staff were very compassionate and knowledgeable. I felt the prices were fair and my dog is doing better after a few days of treatment. Would recommend this vet.”
“Been going to McBrides since i was little with our family cats. Fast forward to my adult years and still here. I wouldn't trust my two dogs with ANYONE else. Doctor Parkhill is compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, and many other things, but she will also tell you the facts so you know exactly what you need to know to care for your animal properly . Many many times she has stayed after hours to not only squeeze myself in but others. When we had to put our Diamond girl down, my husband was so distraught. She made myself and my husband so at ease. She gave us all the time we needed and made sure the office was quiet during our time.Doc Parkhill also saved our CoCo with a full mastectomy. She was a rescue who was bred way too young. If it wasn’t for her catching the tiny lump, it would have possibly developed into breast cancer. Thank you Doc Parkhill for all you do. Your passion for you job truly shows.”

There is no one else I would recommend to figure out a complex problem.Vet tech Suzanne, is awesome!! She is kind and gentle and all of my cats have always loved her, especially Kit. I always ask for Sue because I know that no matter how upset or anxious my cats are, Sue will soothe them and get them through their appts with the least amount of stress. “*UPDATE* I came to leave a review not realizing I already left one. But I need to add more. I recently had to put my biggie to sleep. He was only 6. His liver started failing. Possibly cancer. I'll never know. It's the worst experience I've ever been through. 3 weeks of hell watching my baby get sicker and sicker, nothing i did helped. But from the moment I walked into this place on Feb 1st at 330, I'll never forget. I was met by Lori in reception. She brought us back to our room and walked us through what to expect. She even cried with us and shared one of her stories. "The grief won't go away, but life will grow around it and you will be OK." Lori, thank you for everything. We will never forget you! Thank you for helping make this terrible nightmare a little more tolerable. ♥️♥️♥️ I just picked up his ashes today and he'll be sleeping next to me. I hope you're in heaven having a great old time bugga boo.??What amazing staff they have here! Thanks for making my terrifying experience more bearable”
“I started going to this vet because the city animal shelter offered a lifetime 20% discount. How could I resist? But I would go here anyway. The doctors and staff are great and I've never had an issue. Infrequently, there may be a longer wait that usual but it's manageable. Love McClelland and love its history as well!”
“Dr. Latson cared for my 2 Golden Retrievers over 19 years, both of which sadly died of cancer, but he gave them the best care possible. They loved him and I do, too. I am hoping he will be in practice for a long time to come.”

“I am so happy with ASAH! Dr. Stein and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and kind. I am a nurse practitioner and I am very picky about my dogs care. I have been to 4 different veterinary clinics in both Amherst and the southtowns trying to find a good fit. I have found it! My dog, Hazel, got an ovary sparing spay and also her umbilical hernia fixed. I was able to see the OR which is immaculate.The surgery went very well and Hazel showed no signs of pain. She healed up very nicely. I will be transferring her care and my cats care to Dr. Stein. In my years as an animal lover I have never been able to find a vet who was consistent and took their time with me and my animals…rest assured I have found this in ASAH!”

“We have been going to this vet for over 9 years. They were extremely compassionate when my cat became ill and helped us make her comfortable during her last days. Although they may be pricier than other vets, they are well worth the cost. Dr. Wishko personally calls with blood work test results and talks through next steps and options and is happy to answer any questions. Their online portal is helpful for scheduling and the front desk staff are great. As my dog gets older, I’m glad we are at this vet to help keep her healthy and live longer.”
