I swear I hate going to the mechanic...all except Joe and Eri up there at JSL. To know what type of guy Joe is, he's been one my best friends families mechanic of choice for the last 5-6 years now, so when i moved back home to Buffalo in 2019 and my car immediately dies on me I'll called my pal and thus, that was how I got shown the light lol...But it was a blessing in disguise I swear. JSL is just so amazing, I dunno Joe and Eri treat everyone like they are legit trying to help you out and are just never out there trying to gouge your pockets. The last few years Joe had worked on all that family's automobiles, i swear so he has met them all multiple times I'm sure but yet he's always has time for everyone of them no matter what... so much so that when my friends father passed last year, a man who meant a lot to so so so many people in this world, as I walk into the wake I look over amongst a crowd of strangers to and there I see my favorite German Shepard and sure enough at the other end of the leash the best damn mechanic I've ever met, for real!, Just there showing their respects... It just stuck me, its not like they've known him for 10-20 years or something, but still, that's Joe! So yeah, integrity, honestly and character not to mention its the only shop that doesn't make you feel like an inconvenience, JSL is the best in town, hands down! If you're looking for your last "NEW" mechanic shop, go to JSL FIRST!!!

PLEASE READ WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU MAKE A HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!First of all, I gave one star because you have to. If I could leave negative stars that is exactly what I would've done and here's why:I took my car here one week ago today for a noise (not when I had my foot on the brakes as I told the owner). He has the car Monday-Thursday and I finally called on Friday to see if the cause had been determined and fixed. He told me there was nothing wrong with it. Mind you I also asked for an oil change and he also told me it didn't need it. When I asked him to listen for the noise when he was moving slowly (as I had previously stated) he said he'd take another look. Mind you this had been now 5 days! He called me back and told me he changed the brakes and it would be $400!!!!! My brakes were fine! Here's the best part.... my husband took me to pick it up and it wasn't in the lot!!!!! Upon calling the owner, he told us he took it on his errands and would be right back IF WE WAITED! My husband talked me off the ledge as I was dialing the police! He got back and his dog was in my back seat and he had groceries... ummmmmmm what!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? I also dropped my car off with a full tank of gas! I got it back and it had less than a quarter of a tank AND this moron still charged us $200!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN and please if you've read this far, don't do it to yourself. Go somewhere reputable and pay the money to have it done the right way and on time! I just cannot even wrap my head around this!
