Andrew is such a nice guy. He even helped me out during an embarrassing psoriasis outbreak on scalp and prescribed me a great shampoo to treat it! Thanks andrew!

i provided a picture of the cut and color i wanted, was also going to get highlights. I asked for a very light base color. Very clearly stated that it should not be brown but blonde for the base. When done it was an ashy very, very dark brown. Andrew attempted to fix it by putting a light blonde on top of that. came out orange. The cut itself didn't resemble the picture I provided. The picture was from a hair styling magazine and I even described what type of layers to add and where. He toook way too much hair off to re create this cut. I came in with hair almost to my waist and he took it to just above the shoulders. The haircut pictured would have required at least 2-3 more inches intact. Andrew argued with me. He got loud. He stated "Don;t give me a hard time!! This busubess is tough!!" I stated, "If I pay for something, I need it to be somewhere in the realm of what I asked for especially since I gave detailed directions." He wanted to color my hair yet again to fix it. No way, not coloring my hair 3x in 3 hours and sit under a hot dryer again. I was afraind my hair would fall out. Highlights after , would certainly be out of the question. i asked him to strip all the color and start over. He didnt seem to understand. He then stated my hair was a mess when I came in, and that the bottom few inches was light blonde, that hardly matters as he cut it all that off before coloring. I got up and left. He threatened to call the police. Now i have to go and get this mess fixed. There is not enough hair left for the cut i wanted. I started with it all the way down my back. It's just sad. I waited a long time to grow my hair that long and to grow my bangs to my chin, so they could just be layered into the sides. My aunt gave me a gift card to have this done. I was first quoted 75. Was told when I arrived it would be about $90 since I wanted my hair colored and then highlighted. A reasonable price, I said fine. but NOT fine in regard to what he did and his aggressive attitude. Color nowhere close to what I asked for and nor was the cut.

Ever since I relocated to Buffalo 4 years ago this is the only place I go to get my haircut. Hairdressers are friendly and have been here for a long time and know all the regulars. They have 2 female hairdressers and 2 male. All four are great. Place is clean and well managed and can't beat the prices Andrew charges here. They always offer customers beverages or something to snack on while you are here. Normally do not need call ahead unless you want someone specific.

I just had my second haircut at Andrew's and I really like this place. Both times, Alicia has cut my hair. It's is the very cute strip of Delaware in Kenmore. The first time was in December. I had a Groupon and made an appointment. I never know what I want to do with my hair...I just go in when I think it's too long. Then, I tell the stylist to do whatever will look good on my head. When I did this with Alicia, she suggested an inverse bob. She did a great job, so when I went back today, I said she could do whatever she wanted or a shorter version (for summer) of my last haircut. She did the reverse bob again and I deferred to her judgment on the bangs and the back - she said people don't usually commit to the full layering in the back. I told her to go for it because I trust her. I got another great haircut and with shampoo, it was only $25. No one tried to sell me hair products. An older gentleman, maybe the owner, said, at the end of my haircut, "Are you Rebecca?" I said yes and he told me it was a beautiful haircut. He had been cutting someone's hair the whole time and I thought it was very sweet that he took the time to say hi and remembered my name. This is a very nice, small, friendly place. They have cute metal sign over the nail polish that says, "Finger Paints."
