Absolutely LOVE A Joyful Dog! I've been bringing my pup here for 6+ years and they ALWAYS take great care of her. They answer any time you call and gladly give you an update on how your pet is doing, I have never felt nervous or anxious about leaving my dog in their care as I know she is in good hands. They follow your instructions and routine which allows your pet to feel as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs peace of mind when being away from their pet!! 10 out of 10

We had an amazing experience with A Joyful Dog! Our puppy loved it! And the entire staff has been amazing! Highly recommended. We had never used a kennel before. We had an excellent referral and I'm so glad we went here. We will continue to use their services! I love to support a woman owned, local business.

Amazing caring staff, awesome place. We brought our dog there after a bad experience at a large daycare that was over packed and under staffed. And he has been a happy weekly visitor there for almost two years now, daycare day is his favorite day of the week. Boarding is also fantastic, we trust joyful and they have been nothing but fantastic to our boy ❤️

I've been bringing my dog Ruby here since she was a few months old. She's been going to day care a few days a month. She is very excited to go there and they are happy to see her when I drop her off curbside. I love that you pull up and they come out to get your dog out of the car. I've watched her on the dog cam after dropping her off. I like that that is an option. It is nice to see her playing with other dogs, and even better that she is exhausted when I pick her up. I've never taken a dog to day care before, and I'm so happy that I found such a great place. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend!

Staff is so kind and caring. I feel very comfortable having them watch my Lucy. She loves to go and I feel better knowing that she is in excellent hands. I would highly recommend Joyful Dog.

I love this place! First of all, you don't even have to get out of your car. They pick up and drop off your dog curbside in Kenmore, NY. Also there are cameras you can watch your dogs play on. I'm constantly seeing the employees playing and petting my dog! No other dog day care does that in my experience. Finally, my puppy has a lot of medical problems. They are very diligent about telling me if they noticed any issues. I highly recommend A Joyful Dog Inc.!

I can’t express how relieved I am to have found this kennel. After bad experiences at two local kennels, I was so afraid to leave Harley anywhere & thought I would never take a vacation again. The staff are so attentive and they assured me that if Harley didn’t do well in daycare, they would take her out every 3-4 hours (more frequently than she gets at home). I sent them an email the night before with all of Harley’s details and was afraid they would think I was crazy. They responded 30 minutes later with even more questions about how to best care for her. Every time I called to check on her they knew exactly how she was doing. It’s a small place but they are all so concerned about ensuring your pet is comfortable, well fed and exercised - I won’t hesitate to bring Harley here again!!

Our Doberman Cersei was boarded in Mid July during our camping trip to Darien lake. She usually joins us camping but we didn’t want to leave her in the trailer all day while we visited the park. She usually loves the attention she gets while boarding and has been to A joyful dog over a dozen times. However it had been over a year since her last visit due to our lack of travel (Covid). She really struggled this time. I believe because of new kennels and her anxiety caused by change. She was very unhappy and the staff let us know right away. We decided to go and pick her up early. The staff didn’t charge us for her two night stay. I can’t say enough about the wonderful people who work here. I have recommended them to everyone I know for years & will continue to do so. Their number one priority is the animals. And that’s all you can ask for. Thanks again guys for always taking such good care of our Cersei.

My dog adores it here. The communication is great..and he is a high energy and sometimes anxious hound.. they are siooo patient and positive. Simply the BEST!
