“I stopped at the shop today to ask if they could install a piece of window glass in my 2003 truck. Vinny was kind enough to give me the name and number of an independent glass installer and he also called them for me right away. The installer came to my work address within the hour. Vinny, thanks so much for your help! There are not a lot of places that will help out like this when they personally won't profit from the business.”

“My alternator went out on route 6 late one evening and my girl called the pro shop for me. Shorty after, Joey comes by with a battery pack and manages to get my car over to the shop. Soon after, they had my car ready with new parts and got me back on the road at a very reasonable cost. It was cool to meet someone that is not only honest and reliable, but that offers super hero service ?.. Anyways, go check out Pro Shop Auto Body and ask for Joey. You wont be disappointed.”

“Brought in my dented car. Was warmly greeted. When my car was examined, they popped bumper back into place and then polished away most of the egregious scrapes. I was asked if I could live with the car that way as bumper is plastic and wouldn't rust out. I decided I wanted my otherwise perfect car to be totally perfect. They worked out a time frame that worked for me and the work was completed beautifully even sooner than expected! “Driving on route 138 we encountered some type of unforeseen road hazard a flat tire and a broken rim , we drove to the restaurant and called AAA and the service from this company , was phenomenal they arrived and where pleasant they checked the spare tire and amounted the tire a true gentleman, and a road hero. I also have to say they arrive promptly. They notify me when they arrived on site and I will give this company six stars !would recommend them to anybody. Thank you being a member of AAA. Dan Z”

“I've had so many bad experiences with car mechanics over the years that I have come to just expect it, mostly in the form of blatant overcharging for work, recommending unneeded repairs (hello, brakes that somehow need to be replaced every year!), and sometimes just outright shoddy work. I'd become convinced that this is just the normal state of things, part of the game when owning a car. They overcharge you, you push back and work out a price that's still too high but whatever. They try selling you unneeded work, you decline, they push, you decline again, they come up with other unneeded services, you decline. Etc., etc., ad nauseum. So I've been more than a bit shocked at my experiences at Doerr's. No drama, no overcharging, no constant overselling of services, nothing. Just quiet, competent work for a fair price. You drop off the car and ask him to do an oil change? He'll do the oil change and charge you a nominal price, not 3x the going rate with an added note that you need to change your brand-new brakes because they're "wearing thin". You drop off the car for a New York inspection? He sees you need new wipers, calls to tell you so, charges you $18 per wiper - not $80 - and your car is ready for pickup. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, but, to my perpetual amazement, it never does. It's my highest compliment, one I feel uneasy giving given how many times I've been let down by other mechanics, but- this guy is honest. He and his shop are a diamond in the rough.”

“I went to have a CARSO inspection for my newly purchased CPO car. I won’t get into the waste of time that it is for a CPO car- that’s a silky insurance issue. BUT I will talk about the friendly and efficient service at BSC. I called this morning when I learned I needed this inspection (turns out I was overdue) and they got me in within 45 minutes. Everyone was super friendly and very efficient. The process took 20 minutes and they emailed the results to my insurance company. The place was clean and the minimart, although small had a good selection of sundries. From what I saw it seems they have Full service.”
