We had an issue with our mailbox being hit by the plow, it would only open about 5 inches, if I can get my hand in there to retrieve my mail, I would think the mail delivery person could get their hand in there far enough to put it in, but I guess that wasn’t the case, this person did not let us know that she was unable to deliver our mail in our mailbox, nor did she make an attempt at reaching us by knocking on the door,no note on the door no, no note in the mailbox, they just held our mail without saying a word for 3 weeks…:until we finally caught up with them to ask them why we haven’t received mail in three weeks , response was I don’t have time to inform you. I have mail to deliver……. isn’t it a federal offense to withhold mail from someone without notifying them first???

Good luck ever getting your packaged delivered to the right address! Apparently common sense isn't so common these days. The amount of packages they have LOST or mis-delivered is unacceptable. And the ladies who work in the post office are not helpful, nor friendly. Just stand there chewing their gum loudly and say there's not much they can do.

at least 10 times, the johnstown ny post office driver has not delivered packages and marked them as driveway blocked when my mailbox is at the end of the driveway. they deliver the mail, but no packages. today i had one that needed a signature, they were at the box for 10 seconds and drove way. i didnt even get the chance to go out and meet them. also said they left a notice to redeliver, but they were to lazy to even do that! they need to correct this drivers behavior! is it asking too much to want them to actually do the job correctly? EDIT: went to pick up the package that was never attempted to be delivered today, and what do you know, the one that showed out for delivery was also at the post office...... this is two days in a row and now seems to be deliberately not delivering my mail for some reason. this person should not deliver mail if they can not do their job.

Johnstown Untied States Post Office is a very friendly and efficient office.The employees are happy to help with any questions you may have.The postal carriers need some help. Wrong mail in boxes, etc.

They are always really good inside. But esp today I got there right as they were closing. Kayla stayed open and I got my stamps and payroll got out on time. Real life savers there!

Terrible about sorting out arrived packages. 3 occasions I had a package delivered through UPS to here by 1pm, and they still can't get them sorted by close of business and I have to wait next day. Defeats the purpose of using the post office if I have to wait anyway. Won't be renewing box services.

Driver marked my delivery as “no accessâ€. I was standing outside and she drove by. Also, we have had no weather the past 4 days and our regular driver Rick had no problem dropping off our mail the rest of this past week. They need to hire subs who actually care about the job they do. The girl who subs for Rick is no doubt lazy.
