I went in to cash checks from clients of mine and the woman says they charge 2% as a fee. Other banks charge a flat $5 fee if I don't have an account w them. This visit was 2 checks and cost me $32. It takes no more time, no extra work, nothing that warrants they can charge me to cash one of their clients checks! Just another way to steal from the people. As a client I would be upset that my bank was abusing folks that way. Maybe even embarrassed. You folks should be ashamed... its poor service to your clients to do this to people they do business with.

I used to really like this bank. The last few times I used it the atm never works and I have to go inside. The atm didn't recognize the amount of my deposit. I've had problems with my account not being properly credited. I had the same problem on 12/13/23. The teller inside had no energy and zero customer service skills. Sorry I kept you awake lol. I'll skip JC and use Vestal instead.

Should be ashamed for charging your own members to cash a check from their own bank account. Ridiculous and unnecessary fees, I would never in a million years be a member to this greedy bank.

Some of the people who work there are improperly trained and give false information. I had to call the official M&T office to get accurate information.

Pretty okay branch, hardly looks like a bank from the outside though. They were very helpful and friendly with getting an unused account of mine closed and assisting with a deposit.
