SO INCREDIBLY UNETHICAL/UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!Ordered several thousand $$ worth of hard wood flooring, only to have it dumped out at the end of our driveway at 6:30 WITHOUT ANY HUMAN CONTACT FROM HD/ delivery driver *^^HOURS BEFORE ***^SCHEDULED DELIVERY.***^ ZERO NOTIFICATION OF NEW SCHEDULED DELIVERY TIME, or agreement from our end!! Harley promised me that would never be delivered unless someone was there to accept the delivery. This is so outside of what was promised, and scheduled.l decided to go ahead and have it delivered while I was out of town. I have an eight-year-old dad and a brother who just had surgery. I thought that this would be the path of least resistance, rather than having to have these to go all the way down to the store. I cannot believe the emails coming from my dad pertaining to how this was handled. My brother is not even speaking to me. I was supposed to go home today, but he is so upset. My father is asked me not to come here at the house. Real nice!!! thank you so much for causing World War III! This will be the end of any further contact/ business with your store!!

Waiting on them to bring with them and German trade or two ponds in a slide that were not big enough for two waiting for them to bring in 4 x 4 by eights. My father-in-law needed 25 quick cement. They want to charge him a $25 pallet charge, which is bogus and he had to load the concrete himself. Nobody helped him. Hopefully this review helps and lets people know what they're walking into at Home Depot never happens at Lowe's.

My husband and I have been long-standing customers with Home Depot for years. Always had great service and products. Well, in this last year, my opinion of them has dropped dramatically! I purchased major appliances, and two were not delivered and set up as we were told they were. We tried buying a dryer. Non we wanted were in stock. Settled on a cheap end. Only to find these products at the same, if not better prices at Lowes. Then, I ordered an outside dining set. The money was drawn out of my account and said delivery in 2 days between 6-9 pm. My husband had surgery, and he sat waiting up so as not to leave it out all night on the porch. Poor guy. No product. No email or text. Nothing. I went to the online order, and they stated they canceled the order. I spent from 9:30 that evening until 11 pm in a chat room to be told there was no other product even in a different color to be replaced. So the next day, I went to the JC store, and low and behold, they have 5 there. After talking with the manager, we got a set. Yet I still hadn't seen my refund. Fortunately, I had the money in my account to allow another 700.00 purchase. Then the last two times I've been in we had an associate in the lumber section not do her job and be rude ( of which other coworkers heard her) as she didn't want to ring up or gardening flowers claiming allergies. Only to be told she had wrung up her own flowers in this section. So much for allergies, huh? I like Lowes more and more. It seems Home Depot could care less about their faithful customers, and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. We have spent thousands through the years, and this has been sadly our experience with almost every other purchase to date. So do yourself a favor and go to Lowes. They have great customer service, great prices, and variety. Verizon thought they cornered the market, and then Spectrum came in and took all those customers that they had "so what" attitudes to. Becareful Home Depot as Lowes will take your customers gladly!

Very limited and over priced selection of electrical components including new work switch/ receptacle enclosures let alone Decora switches and receptacles. Thanks for nothing!! I'll shop else where.

I love shopping at the Binghamton Home Depot, located in Johnson City, NY. The new online ordering with shipping is also great! Returns that should be easy are sometimes are not easy, depending on the associate you deal with. There are so many great, friendly, highly trained associates at Home Depot.

I ordered a washer and pedestal in April, the delivery was rescheduled multiple times. I was assured my washer would be delivered on 6/25/22. I called that day to check on my delivery and they said I was number seven and it would be there soon. I never got my washer - it was on backorder and never made it on the delivery truck!! I went to the store that day to cancel my order and received a partial refund and was told the rest would be a credit. I received my credit card sta

I ordered a new dishwasher on May 11, with a delivery date for today, May 24. Five minutes from my house, the van driver called to say they were almost at my address. He also told me that Home Depot no longer installs dishwashers. I was NOT advised of this by HD, but apparently I am not the first customer to find out after the fact. I've been shopping at HD for years, but I am now DONE.

Home Depot is the worst place for customer service! You should get your customer service Tips from Lowe's! I've visited Home Depot several times to which the associates do not know what they are doing or do not what to help out the customer. I have been attempting to order custom cabinets that a Home Depot associate laid out for me but have been told numerous that I need to order it myself. When trying to order custom cabinets online it tells you to go in store to order. I drove an hour to this specific location to be told the same thing from Josh, I brought this to the assistant manger's attention who then spoke with Josh. After they spoke, Josh came back to me with a nasty attitude and lied to the assistant manager telling him that the cabinets we just looked at are not in stock. Yet said if I order it myself it would take less than a week but if he ordered it, it would then take 12 weeks.

Don't believe what any of the Home Depot Installation sales reps tell you about their windows/doors "Double Lifetime Warranty." It's simply not true. Labor is not covered beyond 1 year! Look at their contract verbiage below. When I inquired about the discrepancy, this was my reply: "My understanding is the line references our lowest warranty that was available on an American Craftsman window which is 1 year and the others would in essence be an upgrade to it. I can assure you having been with Home Depot in the window installations business for over 8 years now they consistently favor on the side of taking care of the customer including any service concerns and issues." It's b******* because the salespeople will be long gone by the time you file a claim. It's what's in the contract that you sign that matters in the eyes of the law; not a marketing brochure or said in an email. Plygem/Simonton's customer service rep, Mikka, told me that they get lots of complaints from unhappy customers when Home Depot does not honor the warranty. Moreover, they told me HD's (underpaid) subcontractor installers make a lot of mistakes. All confirmed by Simonton's supervisor, Lori Hendershot. The 6500 series window itself is warranted for 20 years and prorated afterwards. This is taken from their contract. Workmanship is only for 1 year! 7. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES: (a) Warranty: Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, Home Depot warrants for 1 year from the completion date that all Services shall (i) be performed with good workmanship and (ii) conform to the requirements of the Agreement. During the warranty period and within a reasonable time after receiving notice from You of a warranty claim, Home Depot may, at its sole option (i) correct or replace each Defect, or (ii) remove each Defect and refund the full purchase price thereof to You; provided, however, that all warranties are voided if (1) anyone other than Home Depot or Service Provider performs work upon or otherwise modifies any materials or Services provided under this Agreement, or (2) You fail to pay Home Depot as provided in this Agreement. (b) Limitation on Warranties: THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 7A, IN THE WARRANTY SECTION OF THE AGREEMENT, IF ANY, OR IN THE STATE SUPPLEMENT, IF ANY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE OR GIVEN BY HOME DEPOT OR SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY FOR FITNESS OF PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. HOME DEPOT'S EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE VOIDED FOR ANY DEFECT CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, ACTS OF GOD, LACK OF PRESCRIBED OR STANDARD MAINTENANCE, OR IMPROPER CARE/CLEANING. ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES PROVIDED FOR GOODS, MATERIALS, OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PASSED THROUGH BY HOME DEPOT TO YOU, AND YOU AGREE TO LOOK SOLELY TO SUCH MANUFACTURER FOR REMEDY OF ANY DEFECT IN SUCH GOODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT. HOME DEPOT MAY ASSIST YOU WITH WARRANTY CLAIMS AGAINST MANUFACTURERS.

I will NEVER shop at The Home Depot again. I ordered a washer and dryer from them nearly a month ago because mine were both broken. This morning the delivery truck came with two young men on board. At first they were stopped in front of my house and looked like they were going to drive by, they had not even bothered to call me ahead of time like I was told. I waved them into my driveway. The driver gets out and tells me that it was too wet to deliver today. I will have to call the home depot and reschedule...(we got a dusting last night and there was 1/4 inch of snow on the ground) I said I have been waiting almost a month and you are here why would I want to reschecule, he says that he and his assistant could get hurt walking across the lawn with their handtruck. I then say this is ridiculous, put it in my driveway and leave then I will get a refund for my take away, well, THEY both got into their truck and drove quickly away. I called the store and was told to call their delivery service, I called them and they said that the delivery guys told them I was antagonistic and they were afraid to deliver to me and would not be coming back. The dispatcher says I am argumentative and she did not like my 'tone'... That they would NOT be delivering to my home, That they would deliver to the store and I could pick it up from there. I called the store back and they said they do NOT accept deliveries like that, and that they would call them and then contact me. They called me back and said that they were cancelling my order. All I can say is WOW... This company has gone so far downhill, that it disgusts me. I wouldnt buy a thing from them, and I NEVER will again.... I hope HD goes down the tubes, taking my business to Lowes, they HAD what I had previously purchased from HD IN STOCK. delivery would be a few days, but, I opted to pick it up myself this time. SHAME on you Home Depot, I did not even want to give you 1 star, you stink.

Terrible customer service! I stayed home waiting for a delivery. No one showed up. Took me 6 tries to speak to a manager who told me he cancelled the order, which he didn't! More calls to babysit.
