I had a problem with my transmission shifter, and the owner went out of his way to help me out at 3 o’clock on a Friday evening. I am traveling back to Oklahoma tomorrow morning and everything he did was a great help. What’s up 436 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Took my mini-van in for a transmission filter and fluid change. Guy tried to sell me a 'transmission flush' to which I said absolutely not. Left it overnight and went picked it up the next day. It was outside so I took a look underneath and saw that the transmission pan and gasket was untouched- RED FLAG! So I went inside to pay and asked him how they can change the filter without removing the pan. The guy said they did a 'flush'. I just stood there in disbelief, waiting quietly for some other answer, nada. I said 'do you remember when I told you yesterday that I wanted the filter and fluid changed and not flushed'? It took a moment for it to sink in until he said yes. I left it another day, checked it again and just like that there's a new gasket on the pan. I went in to pay and chat. He said 'yah, the filter was dirty and he cleaned out the pan'. Well after another 150,000 miles of trouble free service I gave my beloved Plymoth mini van away to someone down on their luck that drove it another 60,000 miles before the body had rusted away. I'm sure the engine and transmission were transplanted and gave a little more life into another body. Someday we will meet again. Oh, and for Croteau's customers, be patient, polite and insist on a new filter and fluid.

The shop and techs were super neat and clean! Courteous and professional. Diagnosis wasn’t a transmission issue but would definitely feel confident in taking my vehicle to this shop.

Absolutely horrible service, called to get a quote, was on hold for 40 minutes with no answer. Would not recommend them to anyone.
