I had one of the best experiences under what could have been the worst conditions. My BMW R1100GS broke down upstate on the day of the eclipse. American Motorcycle Association roadside assistance found this shop as it was the only BMW repair within 200 miles of where I was. Paul went out of his way to make sure I made it home. He really knows bikes & he's really fair regarding the cost of repairs. He's a one man institution, known by every biker in the county. He organizes an event in late July, which I hope to attend. I broke down 300 miles from home & found the best humanity has to offer.

Called in the am with a tire issue. They fit me in that day and fixed it right and as promised. Very pleasant to deal with.

Paul is a very rare breed: honest, knowledgable, and a pleasure to deal with. He tries very hard to please, looking around, if he needs to, for second-hand parts at excellent prices. He knows his stuff. His work on my 1976 BMW has kept it on the road where other mechanics proved completely clued out. (I think most of them had never seen a bike with a carburetor in their lives.) He's a one-man show and works six days a week. I wish I could clone him and put him a few doors away from where I live.

Paul is a great guy and expert BMW technician. His knowledge of and experience with Beemers is unparalleled. My R1100R broke down on a long trip, far from home, and he dropped everything to help me get back on the road. I will forever be grateful to him.

I am so grateful to have found Paul Heid in my area. Paul is everything I wish for in a mechanic, namely: 1) Very competent - will work on any brand of motorcycle - mine was a Triumph Bonneville T120 2) Family owned, old-school shop. Learned the craft at any early age from his dad I believe 3) Honest, open, transparent 4) Easy to communicate with. Explains the work done on the motorcycle in sufficient detail 5) Solid old-school work-ethics 6) Fair priced I plan to work with Paul as long as I am in this area.

many yearsago I became friends with Paul my Yamaha blew a head gasket and. they fixed it right and very reasonable price.would NOT hesitate to bring my bike there again
