Today we said goodbye to Kitty. Dr. Denise and her staff , primarily Kenny and Joe helped to make Kitty’s passing to be a loving time between Kitty and ourselves. For three years, Dr. Denise and her staff kept Kitty healthy. Kitty came to us, so very sick and then last year he had his ear removed because of cancer. I don’t believe that kitty would have survived as long as he did without the love and care from Dr.Denise and her staff. Thanks again

This is a great veterinary practice! Drs. Ceravolo and Balsamo are wonderful veterinarians, who care deeply about animals and their owners.For years I brought my cats to this hospital, and always found the veterinarians, vet techs, groomer, and receptionists extremely kind and caring.Presently I have a dog that I bring here.Dr. Balsamo was instrumental in helping me understand puppy behavior, as after I first got my dog, she was so difficult that I was considering rehoming her.That was just about five years ago, and today my dog means the world to me!At first, I feared that she was aggressive, as she would hold onto my sleeves growling and pulling and shred my clothing!Dr. Balsamo said that it wasn't the puppy's fault, but that she was separated from her mom and sibs at too early an age, and was using me as her "plaything". He also felt that she was most likely from a puppy mill. When the vet tech tried to show me how to give her the liquid medication for Giardia, my dog threw the medicine dropper across the table!I stuck with my dog and now she is my world!Dr. Ceravolo found an anal gland abscess years later, and treated it successfully with antibiotics and drainage.Heather is a wonderful dog groomer and does a great job and helps to explain to me what I can do to help with brushing my dog, whose fur is very prone to matting. My dog is very difficult to handle, and hates being brushed or washed by me.Recently, I fell down the stairs of my home, and had to hospitalized overnight due to a head injury, and a neighbor asked who I used as a vet, and brought my dog to be boarded here.The next day, after getting out of the hospital, I immediately rushed to pick my dog up, and wasn't even charged for the stay!I cannot say enough good things about this entire practice and would highly recommend them to take care of our oh so beloved animals?❤️?!!!

My black Lab was a patient there. Excellent treatment of my old girl she lived 14 and a half years. The vets always had time for any questions office staff wonderful too.

In the past, we used VAH for its veterinary and boarding services for our dogs, and the services and care were great. More recently, we use VAH for its boarding services alone and, again, we ar very happy with VAH’s services. Fortunately, over the years we have not tested VAH’s advanced veterinary skills, so we cannot speak for their abilities in other than routine veterinary care. But their routine veterinary care, in the past, was what our dogs needed.

I’ve taken all my Schnauzers there for more than 20 yrs. The doctors, highly qualified techs, groomers & front deskHave made it easy to stay there for all these years! The love & care my dogs get is exceptional !!

Called to make appointment for my dog having a cough or cold called and made appointment. Was called back and told I need a ultrasound because the dog is over 10years old . The doctor never even saw the dog but tried to up sell me and tell me I needed an ultrasound!!!! FOR WHAT a cough and a runny nose that you never even examined the dog !!!@ unheard of at least before you go to overcharge me for something make sure he needs it very unprofessional!! DONT GO THERE , the vet didn't have a minute to explain how she gotTo that conclusion of around $ 1000 charge with out even examined the dog. UNBELIEVABLE

Dr Balsamo is outstanding! His entire staff is. He speaks in plain terms and is easy to understand. He doesn't recommend a procedure if he feels it shouldn't be done and has your pets best interest at heart. He talks to your pet and treats him/her like his own. Dr Balsamo is a straight forward and honest veterinarian. I wholeheartedly trust him with the health of my dogs. Highly recommend!

I have brought my pets to Village Animal Hospital for nearly twenty years. I have had dogs and cats. Dr. Denise and Dr. Balsamo are excellent doctors and truly care about their patients. I have experience with the way they deal with serious veterinary illnesses and they and all the staff are so professional and caring. I have even used them for boarding because I know how much they care for my four-legged family. I live in Brooklyn now but Village Animal Hospital will always be my vet .

Loved Dr Denise, and so did our dog! Always ask for a script and buy the routine pet meds elsewhere, like Costco, for half price what this office charges.
