Went in to get my mail. And also get stamps. Unfortunately their was only one person working on the floor. Valerie. That's not smart to do. She's overwhelmed. Get someone to help. Valerie isn't a machine. I have been a customer since 1991. This never happens. Normally I always get good service in this post office .She deserves not only a raise but a Manager position . She's the best

Excellent Customer Service, Always! Best Post Office in. All of Westchester and Putnam County, also the best in NYC! Been coming here for yrs. Valerie makes the Post Office. She’s the only one left. Even when there are crass,rough around the edges Supervisors, Valerie knows how to navigate it so we are valued and treated with honor ,decency and integrity.

Jefferson Valley Post Office! I use this post office on a daily basis for dropping off my packages for my business! I cannot say enough about the amazing staff (Val, Joanne, Bob) they are the best! I've been to many other offices and do not get the personal attention and excellent customer service as I do in this location. Never a long line because they keep it moving along. Always service with a smile! Very convenient location! I mail hundreds of packages every week and rarely had any any issues with lost packages! Val is the most dedicated employee, extremely professional and dedicated! She is an asset to the Postal Service and should be recognized! She is always eager to help with shipping, scanning my parcels.

I debated whether to leave a review because I am conscious about my real name appearing on the Internet. However, I've been going here for years, and Val always greets me by name even when I am not there for months at a time. Be very careful though, as the parking lot is far too small and (car) accidents happen all the time. This is what customer service should be and I feel lucky to have been able to use this branch for all my posting needs. There's nothing magical about USPS; it's the people behind the counter that make or break a given location, and Val always makes me feel welcome!

This is the best post office I have ever been too. I've been going there for years and Karen and Valerie are the best. Go in and see them and they will help you with whatever you need. Val and Karen always go above and beyond to provide you with the best possible customer service and leave you wanting to come back. Look no further for your post office stop.
