The salesman (Robert) walked me through all my options, offering advice as needed, made sure everything fit well, made adjustment/replacements when needed, and made me feel like they cared whether or not I looked good at the event. In the end, you couldn't tell I was in a rented tux. And, it cost less than my previous Tux rental at another place nearby.”

Very clean store, unique merchandizes, great customer service and love that the street closed off to cars, you can walk around on the street and enjoy the great restaurants near by. “I needed a new wedding ring when my old one experienced a trauma, so after reading about Matero on Nextdoor Neighbor, I decided to try them out. I was just a "Lookee Lou" but both Steve and Sue were attentive, interested and pleasant as I wandered from case to case, looking at all the shiny things, without a clue as to what I wanted. They never lost patience, and dug out anything I wanted, which was a lot. They colored diamonds with sharpies to show me different colors and never showed frustration. I dragged my husband back, having changed my mind about what I wanted completely, and they were as gracious as ever. After long discussions, I decided to add stones to my engagement ring and make it a "set" with my new wedding ring, but of course I had questions about colors, sizes of stones, sizes of rings, etc. Steve was unfailing patient and very helpful in his suggestions, from type of stone, to colors of stones to sizing (because I have a finger that swells and shrinks all within the same day,) all of which were absolutely on target. I would have made some unfortunate errors without his help. We now feel like family and I got THE most gorgeous rings, simply by adding two stones to my brilliant cut diamond, and making an attractive diamond/colored stone band to match. I am thrilled and would never go anywhere else. Steve WANTS you to get what you want and he wants to make sure you are satisfied. And happy. They are consummate professionals, with seemingly endless knowledge about stones and jewelry. They are patient kind, cordial, welcoming and always gracious, as if nothing is too much trouble. I suspect some people, myself included, are, but you'd never know it. We love them (and my rings)!”

BEWARE you might spend your entire paycheck there, the jewelry is irresistible. I showed Bridget a reference picture and described what I was looking for and she took it from there. She sourced the stone I wanted (not an easy job), designed the setting, had the ring fabricated, and delivered every single thing I asked for. She kept me in the loop the entire time with amazing communication and in the end, the ring arrived better than I had imagined, within my budget, and on time for a Valentine's Day proposal as Bridget had promised. “We have been coming here for years. I have had earrings and 3 wedding rings re-set into yellow gold with additional small diamonds added. This trip was because I stupidly took my rings off and lost them in a parking lot for a few hours. When I (so thankfully) found them they had been run over and bent. I immediately took them here and again was so blown away by the professionalism, service, attention to detail, and very fast turn around time. I brought my rings in on a Saturday morning and they were fixed, checked, and polished by Monday morning so I could have them back before Thanksgiving. They are back to brand new and so shiny! I could not recommend this jeweler more - he is fantastic and we will be coming here for all our needs in the future. I recommend him to everyone I know!”
