I live with my mother. Got a grant through CODE Nov 27 2023. DO NOT GET A GRANT FROM CODE FOR NEW ROOF. They use Dean's Construction. Workers damaged house and CODE claimed it was damaged before new roof. Have proof from insurance that is not the case. Damage from workers, I am an eyewitness and so is my mother. Roof did not look right after it was done. Work permit never displayed at property according to law. Roof never inspected after it was finished. No one showed up to inspect, my mother and I were home and never saw anyone for weeks after. Inspected 5/8/2025 by licensed contractor and it was not done to code, shingles not tacked down properly and not sealed properly, new shingles slapped over gutter clips with the shingles sticking up. Contractor said that is not how a roof is to be installed. Shingles will come off and the roof will leak. I reported CODE and Dean's Construction to the Attorney General and my mother reported them to homeowners insurance. Got photos of damage before they were finished with the roof of date stamp 11/29/2023. Photos of damage to porch ceiling to CODE 12/18/2023 by text, never came to look at damage. Contractor that did inspection 5/8/2025 says damage was clearly done by installing the roof, wet got in the ceiling by major snowstorm. I and my mother witnessed a worker dragging a heavy metal shovel up on porch roof with a rope and it banged the window hard and part of the porch and we were about 7 feet away going into the front door. The shovel could have went through the porch window and injured us.

CODE for the safety & well being of not only their tennants, but visitors & service personal, they really should DO BETTER with deficient & defective lighting on the outside areas of their properties & parking lots.Lighting & properly maintained lighting is a fantastic crime deterrent, this should be a well & regularly managed item of Maintence responsibility at all properties. This clearly isn't the case, I invite whomever is responsible to do a nighttime inspection of outside lighting of all buildings & parking lots just the same before someone's attacked and/or injured!

I filled out an application for a apartment back in August, and I'm on the waiting list for a place because I am homeless. They are really trying to help me and my kids really appreciate it.

I called to ask what the max income base is for my family size and they want me to fill an application out to tell me if I make too much or not. So I have To give them all my information ss# bank info ect ect before they can tell me if I make too much. Simple question what is max for my size. Why do I need to give all my information out just to find out I likely make too much. I wanted to know so I don't waste my time. If I fall under the guidelines then yes fill one out but give all my info first absolutely not. Ridiculous.
