**Eek. Fair warning for all customers here**
For years this has been my “go to spot” for plants. My husband takes me every year for Mother’s Day- I get a few trees and always get some annuals for the garden. I’ve recommended this nursery and their selection to quite a few people through the years. With that, my in laws stopped in during the week. They went to quite a few places prior and had a trunk full of flowers. When the hatch was opened on their SUV a large pot of flowers fell out. Originally, the most upsetting part was their new flower arrangement got ruined. That was until the nursery owner stormed up asking why they just unloaded dirt in his parking lot. His parking lot that is made of dirt. Naturally, anyone’s initial reaction would be - he must be joking- well, it certainly was not a joke. After a few minutes of the owner ranting on about how much of a mess was made he then asked them to leave. They left and called it a day but- unfortunately the word will be passed. So will our business!

The place was super cool. General selection of plants you’d find at any home improvement store. The bakery has a nice selection of baked goods locally and on premises. We got some pies and this apple fritter was so good. The woman behind the counter was so sweet excellent service.

This place is great. They have homemade baked pies that are so delicious. Their apple cider donuts are so soft and are one of the best on the North Fork. They have a large selection of many different flavors of local honey, stonewall kitchen jams and jelly’s. They have cute fall decor, pumpkins and a great selection of Mums. The place is huge. I highly recommend The Glass Greenhouse.

Stunning nursery and beautiful gift shop bely the quality problem in their bakery. Today we arrived and purchased a apple caramel pie and a rhubard strawberry pie. Took them home and found that under the crust all the fruit was covered in mold.

Great selection. Healthy plants and shrubs. Well laid out. Prices are what you would expect for Long Island.

The quality of their plants is amazing. I have never seen small starter tomato and pepper plants loaded with veggies. The blooms on the plants are fantastic. The prices seem very reasonable compared to the local competition. I'll be back.

This place is unique. I bought some beautful mums and a delicious Carmel apple walnut pie., that was affordable not over priced like some other pie places out on the east end. Be patient and understanding when visiting this beautiful place. The 71 year old owner runs the place and we know how hard it is to get help these days and he is also the baker!!!. The lady who runs the store part is so friendly and helpful.S Support

Everyone says to shop local. I will NEVER shop here again. I was sold plants that were not what I thought they were. They were mismarked. When I went back to see what the owner could do to fix the problem he blamed the mistake on his workers. He repeatedly stated that it was the workers. They didn’t speak English. There was nothing he would do for me. When I was leaving he said that ultimately the buck stopped with him. Apparently not because he took no responsibility. He stated again that it was his workers fault. When I said I wouldn’t come back he told me that I should tell my friends!!! So incredibly rude and disgusting!!! Not shopping local there anymore. Plenty of other nurseries around!!!!!

Great selections of plants for your landscaping needs plus lots of starter veggies for your garden. With the cost of food keep going up not a bad investment planting a vegetable/herb garden. Prices are reasonable for the North Fork. If you get the local pennysaver they have an advert. for $5 off $40 in purchases. Staff is knowledgeable and will assist you finding a particular item. Parking lot is huge. The Farm Market is a separate large building. Before Covid they had some indoor seating and a good bakery. Now it looks empty. Just a few pies, jars of jelly and candles. Definitely worth a visit to The Glass Greenhouse side of the business.

The owner has specifically told me to tell my friends and family to no longer shop at the glass greenhouse. He is a misogynistic j**** We've been going there for well over a decade, spending lots of money on flowers and plants but I will never step foot there again. He was rude to my 85-year-old mother on Mother's Day for no reason whatsoever. I feel sorry for his workers but the owner is a horrible human being. The company spams you with multiple emails per week but doesn't honor those email coupons. There are so many other nurseries on the east end that will welcome business and not insult their customers. Go to them.
