LA Auto Repair is a very good shop for your auto repair needs. The owner Mickey is the best like he's an absolute sweetheart. He's so honest & kind. I wish more mechanics were decent & honest like Mickey.My family & I come here for our car inspections every year. Mickey always offers me coffee & water & shares his knowledge about cars with me. They'll do any repair minor to major. His staff is also very professional & caring like him. I give this shop 5 stars & highly recommend them ?.Service: Auto maintenance

Quick and easy inspection. Unfortunately they did not align the inspection sticker with the registration sticker so it's completely crooked. Not sure what that says about the other work that they do.

Everyone was nice and the mechanics were super efficient. But the only reason I’m giving a 3 star because they put 10w30 instead of 0W20 in my 2019 CRV. I came back home and looked up the owners manual plus finally looked at the engine oil cap and everywhere it was written 0W20. And I also mentioned this while they were changing and it appears they didn’t have the thinner oils.No a car expert but would like to stick to what the manual says.

Sent my car to get repaired, they told me they’d be using new parts to repair the build. Only to find out they grab parts from junk yard and claim it’s new to upcharge you on price. Asked them if I had any mechanical issues after to find out my coolant line was popped off and was in need of new one in the middle of the highway. If your repair is major, highly don’t recommend coming here. These mfs will take advantage and rip you off.

I recently took my 2018 Toyota Avalon to this shop for a brake & rotor installation which I have purchased the parts from Toyota Dealership next to this LA Auto Repair shop. After the installation and a few days later, all of a sudden I see my brakes light came on and the ABS light came on. I took my car back to this shop for a diagnostics and they said that they can't do anything about it because they only installed brakes and rotor and didn't touch anything else. My biggest mistake was that I paid cash for the installation and they never wrote a invoice so I had no proof beside writing a review. I than took my car Toyota Dealership for a diagnostic, and they said that the brakes line and ABS line wasn't properly installed and that the brake line was leaking fluid and I had no choice but to repair my car at Toyota with a peace of mind knowing that my car was in good hands now. This place is a FRAUD, UNEXPERIENCED, UNLICENSED mechanics there. If you want to break your car instead of fixing it, than you go there, otherwise stick to the dealership knowing that your car will be fixed and will run like new for many years to come. I rate them ZERO STAR. Please don't go there and waste your money.Services: Check engine light diagnostic

My father and I have been going to LA Auto Repair for all of our auto needs for about a decade. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and apt. They are able to diagnose and solve problems cheaply and at a rapid pace. I tend to call the Garage ahead of time when I plan on coming in because it can get a little busy sometimes, which is to be expected since it is such a great place. I have recommended this place to all of my friends and they all have been satisfied as well!Services: General repairs & maintenance

Two thumbs up. I've been coming here for years. I have an old car that I love but need some caring here and there. Mickey the owner gives a reasonable price. Alfredo and Chino are the mechanics and they know the stuff. I am not a mechanic obviously but I know enough about cars and they are honest.
