“I was always drawn to health food stores. My daughter and I were just passing by we came across Ujamaa Health Food store on Utica Avenue Broollyn. We had the best interaction and recommendations from Collett the Sales person. She felt like family, welcoming, warm, friendly and very easy to communicate it. This store has a variety of natural foods, grains , teas, herbs and medicine.We also had a smoothie made on our way out. Thank you!”

“Nice, spacious, clean and has a great product assortment. My son lives a block away and hadn't been in here and I was shocked. Would like to see more shelf stable plant-based milk options but they had everything, including bags made from recycled materials since I didn't bring one. Bought shampoo and conditioner and half gallon of whole milk. Surprised by the extensive beer offerings!”
“At the corner of Main Street and 40th Road is Yi Zhou Ginseng and Health, a Chinese apothecary that sells Chinese medicine, dried herbs, and holistic products. It is a small shop but they also sell a few beauty items like soaps and creams, and has a lottery station for Powerball, Mega Millions, and scratch off tickets. The Chinese medicines and herbs are not overly priced for imported goods.”
