One star is far too much grace. This has to be the worst staff in the Davita organization. ALLEGEDLY the head nurse likes to keep patients in check by indirectly threatening "accidental" air embolism. I understand that ALLEGEDLY the head nurse Lynn gives first priority to patients who offer her gifts and/or whom she considers friends. I will never understand the concept of entering the medical field to not be of proper service to those who require medical assistance. Dialysis is no joke. One must have some level of passion for people if they are to be a nurse. Everyone seems to be covering for one another in this staff. It's difficult to reach anyone via phone, and when I go in-person to check-on what's the problem it seems like they are placing blame on patients. The facility is so quick to send patients to hospital instead of dialysing the patients in a timely manner. My father is too petrified to speak up as he fears the facility staff will retaliate. This is NO way for a dialysis patient to function, especially an elderly patient . . . and a high risk patient at that.PLEASE DO BETTER. BE HUMANE!!!!

This center is very dirty. The chairs smell & let’s not mention the attitude of the nurses. They’re very rude & inconsiderate towards the patient. From the front desk to the manager they all the need to be replaced.

I’m Speaking In Behalf Of My Father, When I Say This Facility Is Disgusting I’m Talking About The Staff!! Every time you call them they never answer, the voicemail is always full. My father has been on Dialysis For 20+ years and never has he ever encountered such a disgusting place. I am extremely disappointed in their nurses, office manager and social worker!! If I could give this place Zero stars I would!!! Do not become a nurse if you are going to treat sick patients with a horrible nasty attitude. I really hope you fix this issue!

Good morning, I am writing in regards to my brother who is a dialysis patient at the Davita facilities location at 11801 Guy R. Brewer Blvd, Jamaica NY. The staff at this location all cover up for each others unprofessional and bias treatment of patients. My brother and other Hispanics have been blackballed and mistreated and upon treatment have had to wait hours for a seat. Meanwhile, patients that arrive after are taken in and the disregard for patients that arrive early is appalling. My brother arrived one hour earlier and the place was empty. Instead of taking him in early and getting him out of the way so that he can go home and take care of his personal business they have him waiting till the appointment time. Then he waits while they take in other patients who arrive later and time is wasted just having him sitting their. They are rude nasty and they also forget that their is a HIPPA law that prohibits them from speaking about patients medical history in front of other patients. It is pure disgust that he has to be subjected to their disgusting unprofessional behavior. They are racist towards Hispanics clients and I can not see how it is allowed. If he continues to be treated unfairly and his medical background is spoken in an open-area so that other patients are able to listen then measures have to be taken. How can your establishment allow for this behavior? I would think that your corporation does not allow racial, unprofessional, telling patients to shut up when they speak up, and discussing patients medical history in front of other patients is cause for disciplinary action. If matters are not taken into consideration that I will sought help for my brother else where. He does not have to be subjected to their racial and pathetic behavior towards a patient that can not fight back when treated in such a disgraceful manner. Shame on your organization if you do not remediate this matter. The social worker is also useless. Not one of your employees deserve a job they are the lowest of the lowest. Transportation is another disgust at how they belittle and treat clients. They deserve no stars. Would like to transfer my brother into a location who has empathy towards their patients and treats them with dignity and respect.

Decent as can be expected. Staff listens to patient (if they're willing to speak). Generally pleasant and cheerful., it's still a medical facility; enjoy as much as you can. There are a lot WORSE clinics out there, this isn't one of them.
