I did however had an issue with the phone customer service who booked a SUV for me but the reception told me the helpline gave wrong information and I cannot book SUV for driving to Canada. The team however provided me with a minivan which was even better.”
“Enterprise is generally good because the rates are excellent. My only issue is the excessive hold that they put on your credit card if you're local. Specifically at the JFK airport, but I guess that has to do with the fees that goes along with renting from an airport. In the end the excessive charge actually outweighs the fact that their rates are generally less expensive then their competitors. The return process is smooth when it goes right. Keep in mind when dealing with outside travel companies like Expedia, Priceline and Hotwire, additional fees are not taken into consideration so always contact the rental car agency to find out what the actual charges are, which is really not that much more. To note there was damage in the van I rented but they made me comfortable driving ot because i was immediately told about it and it was notes in their books. That means that they really pay attention to details. I was also shown how to drop and lower the seats, so I could get full use of the room inside of the mini-van. Now that's patience! Those guys are great at the JFK location. Upon my return, I had an incident with one of the rental car return agents. There were three at the JFK location and the tall dark-skinned afro-caribbean or African American agent was extremely rude. As an African-American myself, he's an embarrassment. I won't go into details, but regardless of your race, ethnicity and religion, try to avoid him if you can with any conversation. If you need details about your rental and need to conduct business because he's just a total idiot and UNHINGED just talk to another return agent. I frequent the airport often and I guess he didn't realize, who he was actually speaking to, because I understood and understand the entire return process. I used to work for Hertz Car Rental. I've never experienced anything like it in the 30 years I've been renting cars here and internationally. I did speak to management, and hopefully they will pull him to the side and make him realize that jobs nowadays are very valuable. I'm putting this in the review because we have a lot of people coming into the airport and they do not need to be subjected to a rude rental car return agent. Airports can be harrowing enough. The other rental car return agents on the property where extremely helpful and terrific as well as the agents at JFK's front desk. I would like to say thank you to the Enterprise Team for making my rental pleasant when I picked up. The return should have been more smooth but I do not blame the location, and they should not have to apologize for a rude employee.”
“It's a good thing that BMW models in particular are rented out. Unfortunately, the service at the counter when picking up was very bad and unfriendly. I think they also tried to sell unnecessary extras. The car was ok, had a lot of scratches, but they were all documented, which was easy to understand on the smartphone. The return was great! I also thought the price was okay.”

“I recently visited Enterprise Car Rental in Jamaica NY on Hillside Avenue. They opened at 8:00 am as stated on their website and they did not disappoint me. They treated each of their customers in the most wonderful way. We were all greated and expedited in a very professional manner. All the Personnel were wonderful. We made the reservation online prior to picking up the rental.The price range of the rentals was competitive and overall I was very satisfied with the car and service. “I picked up a rental here, and it was relatively painless. No line, car was clean and in good condition. A bit of a larger vehicle than I reserved, but not a problem. Employee wasn’t pushy about adding extras.
The normal Dollar rental area was under renovation. But you wouldn’t know that without going there first, and seeing the sign directing you to Hertz, on the opposite side of the AirTran station. It’s just a hassle if you’re lugging large bags, kids, etc, and could have easily been added to booking instructions.
Tip: You can sign up for a temporary travel account with EZ Pass to be billed for tolls directly, instead of the crazy surcharges charged by rental companies.”
“I have rented from this National location dozens of times throughout the years. I always have a positive experience.
It isn't the largest location, but at least they try and keep the Executive selection somewhat interesting.
Pickup trucks, full-size suvs, minivans, convertibles, you name it- they put it in the Executive Aisle!
Many brand new vehicles that they first infleet at this location.
On multiple occasions I was able to find vehicles with single digits on the odometer, which means I was the very first renter! And there is no better feel than a brand new, fresh off-the-truck vehicle.
I also do love the fact that they mix in some luxury/premium models in the Executive Aisle.
I once snatched a brand new Mercedes GLS with 8(!) Miles! ?
And if that's not enough, there's the Premier Selection, too.
Overall, great job!
