I love this store. They are more affordable compared to feel beauty that charges a lot more for their products and they have better braiding hair choices. However, they have gotta stop having store staff or security following around black people. I understand that it is a small owned business and they cannot afford to lose products but what do you gain from making shoppers feel uncomfortable? If you are so worried about theft, why open a store in a neighborhood like Jamaica? It's just racial profiling at this point. You can have security and not pre-assume that every potential buyer is a shoplifter.

DO NOT GO HERE. You get yelled at and disrespected if you dropped something by accident. There's 2 feel beauty stores in the ave, I rather give feel beauty my money, never bsw. You lost a customer. The workers did nothing wrong and I feel bad for them. It's management that's the problem. 나쁜 여자!!

I will never understand stores like this that only have one person working in the hair section and then 3 employees that just watch you while you wait for the one worker to finish chatting with another customer. First and last time in this store, no wonder it was so empty

I was in the store today. There’s a lady in the back Chinese lady she was so rude I went there to make a purchase. They didn’t have it. I just stop for one minute to look at my phone Apparently she was looking over my shoulder. She said why are you surfing the web? Can I help you? I’m like excuse me I’ve been helped. She was all in my phone. She was staring at my phone like it was hers. That’s crazy.

The security follow you through out the store. The cashier that work at the register in the front of the store(black girl) is very rude. She lack customer service skills. I have to argue with every time I come to this location. She rush to pay and she throws your items on the counter after paying instead of handing it to you. She shouldn’t be allowed to work with customers.

They refused to let me exchange an item that I purchased, LESS THAN 24 hrs of the purchase. My receipt also says EXCHANGE ONLY!!!! but they just continued making excuses for why they couldn't let me exchange the item. I would also like to add that, the item I purchased was NOT listed in the list of items that could NOT be exchanged. Food for thought. Horrible customer service. I will definitely go somewhere else next time, and I will warn my family, friends, and even strangers about this place. Don't spend your money there. They don't appreciate your business.

I went to BSW Beauty Jamaica yesterday to buy some hair. When I walked in I was amazed at how spacious and clean it was in there. Couldn't find what i was looking for at first but I did ask the lady to help me. When I tell you she was amazing and super friendly found the hair within seconds . The lady at the register was so nice and pleasant to talk with. I told her that she has a customer for life I will be definitely telling friends and family to shop here. Prices are very reasonable and a lot more choices then any other beauty supply store. I love them and you will too

Since I walked in this store, they stared me down like I was planning to steal. Mind you, I’m a black woman but I was just looking around because I didn’t know what hairstyle I wanted (Planned on doing my hair by myself that same day). They made me uncomfortable though so I just left. There’s another Beauty Supply on the same side of the street on Jamaica Ave, and I was able to buy what I needed over there with help. So I’d say avoid this store because they’re still stereotyping in 2023. ?

The store is stocked beautifully and everything you need is there. sadly, the cashier is rude. This happened on 2/1/23 at 1:45pm. I just asked a simple question i said i thought the lipliner was $149.oo and she responded to me as if i was stupid. She did the same thing to the customer in front of me. That's why these stores don't make business because their staff has no ethics or civil sense. Absolutely No Customer Service ethics. I work in the neighborhood so these stores i don't have in my residential area I will not go back to shop. . .
