303 30th Street, Queens“I bought some KN95 masks from this Hudson News in Terminal 4 for $5 each. There's a markup, but not a big one. You can buy them in bulk on Amazon for about $3 each, so I'd say $5 for a single item, at an airport, isn't bad. That's also less than the vending machines in the terminal--they sell them for $7 each. The masks are great. They form a tight seal and have a metal nose bridge piece. They are warm, but very easy to breathe through pressure-wise. I assume they're effective.”
“Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a fantastic collection of new and old comics. They also have a really great collection of collectibles in stock. They've also got a large collection of graded comics.”

36-19 30th St, Queens“Astoria Bookshop is tucked away off the main drag and that only makes it more perfect. The shop is loaded with current best sellers, kids books & cute notebooks, bookmarks and cards. They even had some signed copies of books that were great to see. The ladies were so friendly and sweet. I had my dog with me and they were so excited to see her and offered her treats and pets. Checked out the shops Instagram where they have all their events & happenings. I also picked up my next read and I'll definitely go back there for more books and tosupport this great shop!”
“Beautiful store, beautiful products, and the cell phone department was very friendly and helpful in helping me get the most awesome best phone for the easiest most connected lifestyle”
“It's great to be able to purchase a book on the Bandibooks website and have it delivered to a New York bookstore. It's not a huge amount, but I've been buying books often for over 10 years and I love it! The owner is so kind. You can purchase most new books directly online or at bookstores. It is cheaper to buy online and pick it up. I'm so happy to be able to use such a good service in New York, where there are few ways to get Korean books.I have been buying Korean books for both adults and kids for over 10 years. I love how I can order books online, and have them shipped to this store directly. The owner is super friendly as well. I highly recommend this store and website to everyone”
“So nice and polite I was nervous to ask for a certain manga thinking they wouldn’t have it but I asked and she took me right to it and showed me the series. when I went up to pay he said the name of the manga and explained a bit about it. They know there stuff definitely go there”

We also enjoy the fun, interactive read alongs with the book characters, like Dr. Seuss & The Grinch.Maria gives perfect book recommendations and also provides a fantastic tutoring service. “It has provided comprehensive bibliographies and books for Chinese readers, including the library, for many years, and is a symbolic facility of Flushing culture.”
“Great selection, feedback on your choices, buyback prices are good. You get suggestions the more these folks get to know your tastes. The occasional ribbing. It's everything you'd want in your bookstore. I travel from a ways away in the city for this place.”
“A wonderful and wide selection of Torah literature for serious scholars and for the layman or woman alike. A very respectable collection of books written in English as well as a very nice children's section.Although there are a number of paintings and a large selection of other Judaica items like yarmalkas and tzitzis and some music the main focus is books and Torah literature. They usually receive the latest recently published scholarly volumes and biographies and display them on a separate table. In addition they organize sections to cater to those who are interested in books on upcoming Jewish holidays, life cycle events and the weekly Torah portion. The salespeople are knowledgeable and accomodating.”
“When I was walking down Roosevelt Ave, Jackson Heights, I looked for a book store nearby. I wasn't expecting much, but what I found, which was this store, I was pleasantly surprised. The people in the store have all been very friendly and very helpful. They engaged in wonderful conversations and made great suggestions for me to read, with their selection being mainly in Spanish. Despite their main Spanish collection, their English literature and books didn't disappoint me. I left with 7 books, with one of them being a gift. I will definitely return to the store again.”
“This is a great place to get all your spiritual wants and needs. They have jewelry, large print bibles that you can get engraved. Spiritual clothes and lots of spiritual trinkets. MUST VISIT if you are or want to get spiritually connected to God”
“Dr Nerens not only works efficiently, but also takes the time to explain what he is doing while working on your teeth. I felt confident in his ability to resolve my teeth issues.”
“Small and cozy. Reminds me of the Barnes and Nobles that were everywhere in the 90s and 2000s. Good selection of books. Not too many bookstores left sadly and alot of kids will never get to experience it. Its a must go to and staff is friendly and knowledgeable”
“I wish I could give this school more stars. My oldest son went here for 3K and 4k. They had 2 teachers for each class. He went to Kindergarten knowing how to read and write with no issues. I moved to the island and he was way ahead most of the kids. Highly, highly recommend!”
“Absolutely beautiful - books to the ceiling. Old vintage books smell I loved it feels like a hidden lost royal library. The owner is super sweet and friendly and the prices are amazing! Picked up a book that normally on Amazon is 21$ I got it like new condition for $1! Yes you read that right ! Love this book shop will definitely recommend and will return!”

770 Hart St, Brooklyn“Molasses Books is interesting. I am an out-of-town ER, actually an out-of-the- country ER. Looking for a kichy bookstore ~ and it's a cafe to boot. I am over 40, by a few decades. Everyone visiting the store is definitely under 40. Only one other (under 40) was looking for a book. It's small but perhaps big as a cool cafe/bookstore in NYC might be considered. the staff member who took my dineros was very attentive to me. I'd definitely go back.”
10:30AM - 8PM
257-19 Hillside Ave., Queens“I have had the pleasure of visiting both the Iselin, NJ and just this past weekend the Jackson Heights store. Wow! I went to buy books (and believe me, they have a most extensive collection!) All of your puja needs can be found here. And to my surprise, a Doctor of Ayurveda on site. Everyone, regardless of ethnicity will feel welcome when they come to shop here. It is clean, well-organized, and the staff is very friendly and will answer any questions you may have. They were very patient when it came time to ring up my large order. I find the prices to be reasonable and would spend my money and time there again. I can tell that the owner and his associates take pride in their culture. Come visit Butala Emporium...you won't be disappointed. Jai Shri Krishna!”
10AM - 8:30PM
37-46 74th Street, Queens“I recently reviewed after traveling to the store in person, but this time I have ordered from their online store, IndoUSPlaza. Once again...a pleasant experience from prompt order payment and shipment confirmation all the way to receiving the parcel at my doorstep. They have everything one needs to live a sattvic lifestyle...puja items, ayurvedic products, festival decor, kavach pendants, extensive yantra collection, etc. etc. Oh and of course books, books, and more BOOKS! (In English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc.) I feel welcomed here. So will you!”
“I've been shopping here for around 20 years. Instead of school supplies for my children I now I buy gifts for my grandchildren. They have a great selection of learning toys.I love doing business with good people and the owner Dan is a wonderful person.”

“When I got here it seemed as if I had stumbled upon a vegan/vegetarian grocery store in the back of a bookstore. While it is not very big, you will see all the bigger vegan brands that you sometimes are looking for. The prices aren’t the best but I saw brands that I rarely see.”
