Pet Grooming

PETISA SPA
72-09 35th Ave, Jackson HeightsI love this place and the attention with my dog every time I take him leaves him very pampered and knowing that he is very aggressive towards me gives me the impression that they pamper him a lot I recommend it 100%. And in the cut they do it as you want I love it

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Tagpuan NYC
70-06 Roosevelt Ave, Jackson HeightsOne of my favorite Filipino small business bakeries in Woodside. They are just a block away from the 7 train and are open pretty late. They have a variety of house-made pastries including silvanas, ensaymada, sio pao and other delicious classics. I especially recommend their pork siopao! I don't know what it is but the pork reminds me of lechon baboy. They also serve coffee and other drinks as well as brunch. The staff are very nice and accommodating as well.

El Chivito D'Oro
84-02 37th Ave, Jackson HeightsI came back here after about 10 years and noticed a huge change in the quality of beef, sadly a downgrade. Everything else has remained the same (sides, bread, salads), the beef however is my main issue, I don't know what happened but it's not as good as it used to be. It is not bad but I wouldn't say it's good either.

Laly's Restaurant & Agaveria
75-19 Roosevelt Ave, Jackson HeightsGreat food! I loved the Buffalo Wings. They tasted great and had a nice kick to them if you're looking for something spicy. The nachos and chicken tacos were delicious too! We had the "Dos amigos" drink and it was strong and tasted great with the hint of mint. Our servers were warm and very attentive. At night, it plays Spanish music and sporting games are played by the bar. Great place to grab drinks at or, sit down for good Mexican food.

Amdo Kitchen
37-59 74th Street, Jackson HeightsFirst time trying momo, Amdo was recommended by a friend in the neighborhood (Jackson Heights) and it was love at first bite! Spicy doesn't agree with me so I opted for the dumpling drenched in white sauce and topped with the radishes. This food truck is clean with a little counter to eat at, and the chef/host was lovely and kind to me as a first-timer. Got the beef momo, will be back for those and to try the vegetarian. Had a little trouble finding it after getting off the train-- the neighborhood was bustling on a Friday night. Popped into the Indian grocery after to grab some snacks + dessert, and all in all it was a great experience. Definitely a local staple, but even if you're not in the neighborhood, this might be worth a stop for some excellent eats!
