The service in this pharmacy is horrible, people stop talking and leave customers in line without being attended, seeing that they have a long line, they are there talking to each other and arguing, they have to put professional and fast people in the checkout, they are too slow and do not do their job well

Doesn’t not deserve not a single star !!! Cashier acting all crazy over an old bill thinking it was fake trying to call the police while having people actually stealing stuff and every single one working there acting like blinds heads

I was just there. There were other customers, Caucasian. Security guard kept trailing behind me non-stop. I can’t help but to think that it was racial profiling. I mean, I had no problem whatsoever at all turning my head all the way back and stare him down WHILE I WAIT FOR MY TURN TO PAY AT THE CHECK OUT LINE, right after the Caucasian couple. <NEED> some training to ensure that the customer feel less uncomfortable while shopping.

I was trying to get a prescription however none of the pharmacy's in my neighborhood had it. I've called many of them only to get rude workers and long wait times. I eventually tried this pharmacy expecting disappointment however I was helped by an amazing pharmacist named Karissa Boodhoo. She was very informative and was able to verify that they did have my prescription in stock. When I arrived I was greeted by her and didn't have to wait long for my prescription. She is the best!

My first experience at this Duane Reade has been memorable. The store was well kept and stocked. What really left me with fulfillment was my interaction with their pharmacist, Karissa Boodhoo. Not only was she knowledgeable, she was on top with her customer service. I will definitely be back at this location!

The Cashier is a short Spanish lady with a Colombia accent blue shirt no name tag,who seems to have serious customer service issues, She looks visibly upset and appears doesn't want to be there, had an attitude problem, this store was a mess, there where other employees helpfully but these one in particular wasn't very helpful

Duane Reade used to be a New York institution that definitely had the NYC consumer in mind. Now it's just another Middle American Walgreens. Not bad but nothing special.

It’s getting ridiculous. Everything is locked away but there’s no one responding to unlock. Waited almost 10 minutes for toothpaste and when someone finally came they yelled at the only person actually working for calling on them to help.

This is the worst chain drugstore I have ever been to. I have asked on 2 separate occasions if this store was closing and was told "No." I should add that the Pharmacy Dept is fine- nice staff. The reason I asked about potential closing is the shelves are close to bare. The dairy section is a joke- today the worst. No milk- not a single drop- except for ONE container of oatmilk. Yogurt? Better make your own- ONE SMALL CONTAINER. No cheeses- nothing. Pet aisle? Very little choice- no Fancy Feast- the only kind our cat eats. The store, like today is usually crowded. There is only ONE hand pulled basket to carry your items.ONE! No carts either. The one basket was in use- lucky lady! Luckily, no one mugged her for it. Frozen food- some pizza- some icecream- not much- otherwise shelf after shelf after shelf of EMPTY freezer space. With the RiteAide on 37th Ave now closed we are in a drug store desert! Walgreens owns Duane Reade -- what gives? To quote the great Bette Davis: What. A. DUMP!

Slow service. Pharmacy even slower. They make you wait then they tell you medicine not available. This is definitely not a store for the average Joe. Prices higher than other pharmacies. They have this wrong idea that we are, somehow doing great to afford higher prices.

Rude and arrogant and unhelpful in pharmacy department. Told me to go away and come back in half an hour. Prescription not ready and they went lunch. Told me to come back after.
