They are honest and knowledgeable. (Recently diagnosed a thermostat problem on my RAV4 hybrid. They were getting ready to replace it and decided that the hybrid made it much more complex, and they were afraid they could make a mistake. They called to tell me, and recommended going to the dealer. Did not charge me for their time.) That's why we've been going there 25 years!
Very flexible with appointments, get the job done when they promise. Prices seem fair & reasonable.

Always there to help they will never rip you off , recently they told us we did not need new tires after the people we bought the car from said we would need new in a month or two. These guys will not steer you wrong

Was passing through the area visiting some friends and had to get my tires replaced. Amazing service, honest, great prices and low wait time. They have a clean lounge/waiting area with WiFi

I use Wilcox to get my tires switched out from regular to snow and vice versa. The service is fine, what you expect from a well-worn shop, but call to check on your car. They seem to never remember to tell you its done. I've read a few other reviews that note people waited all day for their car to be done. My recommendation is to just call them after it's been a while.

I’ve had good and bad customer service experiences at this shop. Most recent trip was the last. I needed my rear tires replaced. I brought my own tires. They didn’t tell me the price beforehand and it ended up being $94 just to put them on. They never called to tell me my car was done so I was just walking around in December pissing in the wind waiting for a call. Finally walked in and clearly my car had been done a while. Fully consumed a day.

This place has never failed me. I’ve dropped in there with flat tires and faulty sensors several times over the last decade or more—even sent family there from out of town— and they’re always super friendly and accommodating. Car stuff always stresses me out but these guys have always made me feel like they were actually more concerned about me driving around with underinflated tires or overdue inspection than profiting off my mistakes or misfortunes. Their service is great, their staff is friendly, and their prices are fair. Everyone in my family who has gone there agrees. Can’t recommend them enough.Services: Tires

Brought my truck in for an inspection. Got the truck back with nearly $3k in repairs and worse condition than I brought it in. I'm reluctant to pass judgment, but can say that based on experience and outcomes, I will never return to Wilcox.

I like that that can take you in unannounced at times. They are also quite fast. Comfortable waiting area. And fair and upfront pricing.

This is the only car shop I have used since moving to Ithaca over 7 years ago and I will never take my car anywhere else. From getting me snow tires for winter, annual inspections or other maintenance, I am always pleased. The customer service is great, and in fact, they have given me discounts before without even asking. Cannot recommend them enough!Services: General repairs & maintenance
