July 2024 this Tops pharmacy is sooo fast at filling prescriptions.
I’ve been using Ithaca downtown Wegman’s Pharmacy for a year, and they’re great helpful staff there, but it can also take days for refills, and at least 1-3 hours if you call directly. I’ve received texts from them that my meds are ready, and when I arrive that same day I still have to wait 15-30 min. for them to finish.
Versus this month now 4 times I’ve left a doctor appointment in downtown Ithaca and called the Tops from the parking lot to see when my med would be ready, and they announce each time it’s already done.
Tops staff isn’t as smiley/friendly as Wegman’s in person at the counter, but they are fast.

Extremely extra friendly and caring staff (Hi Penny! Hi Tina!) and SUPER FAST on filling new prescriptions and refills. I like the text notifications to let me know my order is ready. They are great about proactively handling insurance issues (so I don't have to!) and have helped me a couple of times when I had to pay out of pocket -- to make sure I paid the lowest price possible. I have been a customer for about 20 years so the staff know me pretty well and we have a good rapport -- but honestly they treat everyone just as good. Wouldn't even think about going anywhere else!

The deli department used to be very very good. Ever since they changed up the people who run it it's been slow and it smells bad over there. I do not use the deli here anymore. I go elsewhere. I still shop here I just refuse to use the deli. The store itself isn't bad. Some of the employees here are a bit rude while others are extremely nice. I guess you get that at most places thoughHappy shopping!

A review specifically for the gas station near the main store - the air pump for flat/low air tires- broken. Had to drive somewhere else to get refilled (eventually ended up at the Mirabito in Ithaca). I think the grocery itself was well attended based on the lot.

Check the dates on everything. If I don't I will end up with items past their expiration every time. For instance last week got capri sun dated December 2020 because I was in a rush after work and didn't check.

Cannot understand such negative reviews of this store. I recently moved to the area from Florida, where Publix has the best reputation among food stores, and rightly so. However, I find this store more than adequate. It is convenient, the selection is good, the staff friendly and they have a surprisingly large selection of organic products at reasonable prices. The perks program helps you save money. Their pumpkin donuts were very tasty, and I enjoyed the fresh made salads from the deli. They will probably never be as good as Publix, but I am more than satisfied.

This is a lousy grocery store. The last time I was there I asked an employee where I could find an item. He said, "I don't know." Then he just walked away. Then I asked another employee where I could find the same item. She said, "I don't know." Then she just walked away. I guess finding someone who knew was too much trouble.

Prices are relatively good, but their meat section needs work. Meats from this store go bad very quickly (within a day), despite the date on the package. Meats on sale are usually bad already, and the section often smells like old or rotting meat. Self checkout machines are also terrible, and customer service representatives in the store have been rude.

Self checkout machines are also terrible, and customer service representatives in the store have been rude. I go here because Tops brands items are generally good, and much cheaper than wegmans. It's also never crowded, so I get in and out quickly. Whenever possible I just buy my meats elsewhere.

The guys are nice, especially Anthony he goes out of his way to help, very patient and courteous. The lady, not so much she is rude, slow and does not want to do any extra step (like calling to see why the coupon doesn't work....turned out she did not know how to put it in, so before I go I call to see if she is the one there)
