I wanted to provide my extreme dissatisfaction with Taylor Rentals. On 12/13, I received a quote from who I was told was the General Manager, Rob VanPatten, which indicated that the delivery and pickup fee was $289. I asked for an updated quote without delivery/pickup fee as we decided to pick them up and drop them off ourselves. This final quote was turned into a reservation ($207.62). Note that we obtained several quotes from different local rental companies and chose Taylor Rentals in ITHACA for our event in SENECA FALLS because of the quote we received.
Fast forward to Friday, 1/5, when we picked up the tables and chairs. The chairs were extremely dirty (photos attached), and one of the tables couldn't even be used because it was not stable. On Friday, I called to coordinate/make a reservation for the tables and chairs to be picked up on Monday (instead of dropping them off) thinking the quote would be half of the previously disclosed delivery/pickup fee (~$150). Only to find out that it was an additional $275. When I questioned it, I was told that the GENERAL MANAGER had made a mistake on the quote and that I was lucky to be confirming the reservation on Friday because the prices were going to increase next week. No offer to honor the existing delivery charge, no apology, no recourse, nothing. Again, I want to reiterate that we obtained several quotes from different local rental companies and chose Taylor Rentals in ITHACA for our event in SENECA FALLS because of the quote we received.
When confirming the reservation for pickup on Friday for Monday (1/8), I was told that pickup would be scheduled for 10:30am-11am but that I would receive a phone call when the delivery driver was on his way. At 11:10am, I had received no communication from anyone at the company and was waiting at the venue. When I called and spoke to Marie, she told me that the driver was supposed to call when he was leaving Ithaca and did not. I received a call at 11:26am from the driver saying he was at the venue.
I have received nothing more than very poor communication and very poor customer service. I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience and will not be recommending this company.

Tables, chairs, and drink machine for my wedding arrived 5 1/2 hours late and were all totally filthy. We had to scrub clean every chair and table and gut the drink machine and clean that. They never called to warn they’d be late and the lady on the phone was very rude and condescending when I called to check on delivery. We definitely won’t be using them again and suggest you stay away as well.

As a party tent business owner myself, I understand the stresses and busyness that this time of year brings. I work very well with Taylor Rental and their team and whenever I am running low on party supplies they are always willing to help me out. The face of their office and the lady on the other end of the line, Marie is amazing and will bend over backwards to give me or any of her customers the best rental experience possible. Thank you for all you do and I look forward to working with you guys for years to come!

We ordered an inflatable slide for an end of the school year party.When they were 15 minutes late, my coworker called. They said they were a little behind, but loading the truck.When they were 45 minutes late, I called. They said (A) that they thought we were supposed to pick it up, (B) that it was for the next day at 9 am, not the day we ordered it for, and (C) that it was for the next day at 4pm.It took them calling up the original person who made the order and then that person reading the invoice with the correct date and time over the phone before they admitted that they "lost our paperwork".Whoever answered the phone was rude, too. To all three of us.

I absolutely LOVE working with Taylor Rental - Marie is a pleasure to work with and she is always super helpful and pleasant. She always does her best to be able to provide last minute rentals when we are in a pinch and she always makes sure we have exactly what we need, even if she has to pull from other locations. Marie makes rentals a breeze :)

The tent arrived 4 hours late.The covers for the chairs were all different colors and had huge stains on them.They forgot 5 of my tables.The chairs for my wedding ceremony had rat nests in them.The dance floor was in awful shape.The employees in the office we very rudeHonestly not impressed and would not recommend made my wedding day very stressful.

Lucky to have these folks in town. They kept the store open 20 minutes after close on a Friday the day of my pickup. I had problems initially and they ended up giving me extra time on the rental for free. Once I figured out the machine (my problem not theirs) everything was good to go and I finished the project feeling good. Ask for Marie, she's a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable.

Went here after having a horrible experience at another rental store, won't mention any names here... They helped turn what was well on it's way too being a nightmare into a pleasant experience. Customer service was as good as it gets! Employees were all friendly helpful and knowledgeable treated me like a person rather than just a customer or a dollar sign. Hats off to you guys I'll be back! Highly recommend! Only complaint is I didn't go here first.

We rented a bounce house for my daughter's birthday. I submitted a request online and they were very quick to get back to me with a quote. They gave us an upgrade because the one we requested wasn't available and we had it for more days than we requested as well. The gentleman who delivered and picked up the house was incredibly sweet to our kids who were outside and so excited about bouncing. He was quick, did a complete job, and helpful. Thank you so much Taylor Rental for making our 6 year old's birthday the best one yet!
