What a lovely experience! The manager was friendly and knowledgeable and helped me determine the correct size I needed (I had no clue!). I feel confident my belongings are safe here! If you are looking for storage, this is the place!

The customer service is terrible. I was charged two additional months after I had moved my belongings out and wasn’t issued a refund because of a fine print statement on the lease. This would be fine and I would have taken the blame for it if not for when I went in to actually sign the lease, I was rushed into it and not given nearly enough time to read any of it. If I spent longer than 45 seconds reading a page they would tell me to sign the corner and move on. When I called customer service to explain this to them, they were extremely rude and wouldn’t let me finish what I had to say, clearly not open to criticism and instead of saying “okay thank you for letting us know” they immediately went to defend whoever pressured me to sign the half read lease. If you really can’t avoid using this service for your storage, please take your time to read the lease because they will angrily rush you through it. For poc and lgbt customers, don’t even bother going here. They will treat you significantly worse. The only thing holding me back from giving a 1 star review was that at the very least their rooms were dry and acceptably clean.

We are having an excellent experience at Secure Self Storage in Ithaca. After searching around, we feel very fortunate these people had availability, as transitioning from moving cubes to storage was complex and we really appreciate their presence at the facility and the ease of communication. The people who work in the office are really nice, and we feel they gave us a nice welcome to Ithaca. One day we'll need to get our things out and into our new home, and I'm confident I can count on Secure Self Storage for a painless process. It's also a comfort that the place is locked up in the evenings, and well-plowed during snow storms.

There is an older fella that was very rude to a family member that was renting he threw the keys pretty much at us to unlock the unit and bring the keys and the lock back that was on the unit to him most places the staff takes people and unlocks it I wouldn't recommendthis place to anyone with the way that gentleman was toward myfamily member

Old guy on the phone is extremely rude and clueless. He talks like a caveman and doesn't give any help. I recieved an email saying I was being charged for the next month even though we had already moved out. I called to ask why I was being charged and he just repeated "closed" without explaining to me at all why I'm being charged

I had a unit with this company for 2 years. Upon move out I was informed that I would be recieveing a credit back for moving out early after paying the last month in advance. I was informed it would take up to 10 days to process through. After 4 weeks of not recieveing the credit I called in to speak to the manager who said,"Nope we don't do that. Secretary was new and uninformed." I find this to be falsified information, as she showed me the exact credit I would be recieving, and that it would auto deposited to the same card I had on file. This is absolutely ridiculous, especially to do to a customer of 2 years. On top of that they upped all of their rates last year making pricing even more out of wack when compared to the better options available around the Ithaca area. They also claim for it to be secure storage. Yes the front gate is normally closed.... but there are two other side gates that remain open 24/7 the entire time I was a customer. The gates are big enough and accessible enough to drive an entire truck and trailer through. As I personally have witnessed this happen. Extremely disappointed with the entire situation.
