Burned by this Goodyear for final time! 1st offense: scheduled to get new tires, they had to be ordered, I made an early morning appointment for installation. Ended up spending 7 hours wandering neighborhood with my young daughter before they finished. Later found out from local oil change place that one tire was "going the wrong way", had been installed with tread backwards. 2nd offense: They changed an axle which later fell off one side as I was going 65 mph. They fixed it free of charge and admitted this mistake but no apology for the life threatening, taxi & time experience. At least 3rd offense: scheduled oil change, tire rotation & inspection week in advance, mid month, for 8am. Explained making appointment & when dropping it off I made early appointment because I have no other means transport & hoped any other issue would also be fixed that day. (14 year old car with brake dust on tires) I told them I would be back around 4:45pm. At 3pm after hearing nothing, I called them. It had not even been in yet. At 4:15 a tech called to 1st explain I needed cabin air filter change due to leaves & mold & oh brakes, also failed inspection for the upcharged cost of $875. I had no other way home and 12 days to get this done. I asked to speak with Manager Mark Shores. He again made no apologies, no discount, but excuses "we had a lot of cars today". With appointments? That you’d had all day? 10 year customers you've burned before? Single working mom's with child to pick up? I expressed being angry he said "I don't understand why you're so upset".
If they'd have called at 1:00 with this news, price I'd have gotten it done because time is valuable.
Bad workmanship, inflated prices, up selling, bad customer service. Beware! They prioritize fleet vehicles, higher priced jobs, have inexperienced techs, have no respect for appointments, common curtosy, sense, customer service.
Thanks to Assistant Manager Justin Ludlam who made discount to price of oil change, tire rotation and failed inspection cost they neglected to mention they completed until I picked my key up, despite my asking they not do work as I'd be taking my business elsewhere.
Canceling my Goodyear credit card. Contacting corporate.
Go anywhere else.

The screws that keep my rear license plate attached were incorrectly installed, and have rusted so badly they couldn't be removed at two auto shops in a row. Less than an hour before store closing, without a way to attach my new plate, I called Goodyear. Justin answered, gave me a few different ideas over the phone that no one else had though of, and then actually just told me to drive over to their location. He met me outside, explained how he could temporarily attach the plate, asked for my express permission, and had the plate attached within a minute! I'm so grateful for his kindness and help resolving such a stressful situation.

I highly recommend Goodyear in Ithaca and the expertise of the staff. I was at a loss when my brakes seized up and started smoking. I called Goodyear and got towed. Travis explained everything and I felt confident my van was in good hands. The technician, Jon, did a great job and explained everything he did and answered all my questions after the repair, as did Kevin and Justin at the desk. As a solo female traveler, it’s always a worry to break down in a new place, not knowing who’s a reliable and honest mechanic. I feel very comfortable about the rest of my 5000 mile journey and am grateful for the excellent service. ?

Fair price for a car inspection, first time being here as well and the employees were kind and knowledgeable. There's a comfortable seating area for you if you want to wait for your car as well.

While no one particularly enjoys getting a tire puncture and having to buy a new tire, you do hope to get reasonable help from a local repair shop. The Goodyear store on Elmira Rd was able to take a look within a couple days (another shop I called couldn't see me for several *weeks* out!). Justin at the Goodyear front desk was friendly and patient, explaining the damage and showing me the metal (shard, blade?) in the sidewall that meant it couldn't just be patched. He even found - and matched - a slightly lower price for the tire to knock a bit off the cost, which was appreciated.

Waited 3 hours for them to do an oil change and alignment and replace one tire. Had to go back because my alignment still seemed off, found out they never actually did the alignment even though they charged me for it. I would've paid $90 for nothing if I didn't question it. Waited another 2-3 hours for the alignment the second time.

Got me in on a Saturday with no appointment, super quick. Did charge for the more expensive oil change without asking but overall good experience.

First time trying them. It took an hour and 45 minutes for an oil change with an appointment and none of the staff were pleasant enough to do anything other than grunt and give one word answers.

The service here is so good!!! I came for a winter tires appointment, but didn’t realize that they were already on (I forgot to take them off in summer)…. They wrapped my summer tires with plastic bags and put in my car. There was also an issue with my electric car key, so they came to get me multiple times etc. They were super patient.In the end, they charged 0 for all the trouble and didn’t complain at all. The place is also clean and has a coffee machine.

This is the best place I've been for my vehicle. The guys working here were very professional and efficient. They were also warm and friendly!Highly recommend.
