I had a lot of fun here and it's an excellent place for a pleasant easy hike(upper trails).
Playground: There's a very tall tree house that kids or adults can run around in.
Dog-friendliness: I saw a sign that said no dogs allowed

Hmmmmm.... well, the treehouse is really cool, as is the small waterfall that is near it. However, the nature center itself looks rundown and needs attention. Here are some pictures of the Pollinator and Vegetable gardens. Keep in mind these pictures were taken in mid-June. Also, there were no animals in the cages. It was unclear what happened to them. Sad to see this in such a beautiful area.

Nice place to visit. A few trails to wander. Trails could be marked better. Small waterfall (Denison falls) on site. Good flow dependent on rain. Neat treehouse like observatory near the falls. The animal exhibits are no longer here

The nature center is kind of sad, it just looks run down. The lodge was closed, and there were no animals. The only thing we did enjoy was the tree house. It is located at the back of the lodge up the gravel path that leads into the woods. There is free parking.

Took my daughter to the nature center, and although the lodge was closed, the trails were clear and the scenery was beautiful. Got a chance to visit the treehouse and let me tell you that is quite a project that the kids at Ithaca high school constructed. Definitely recommend for a day trip treehouse and waterfall are just a short hike behind the lodge.

What a cool place! The nature centre itself was closed, but enter through the gate on the side.Nature reserve with an incredible six- story tree house (which would have been perfectly terrifying at Halloween). To get to the tree house, walk by and past the animals behind the centre, and keep following the trail for a couple of minutes. It's very well hidden in the trees. Incredible how they made it - well done to the construction team!! So fun with options to climb up ladders or take stairs at each level. The animals seemed well cared for, there was an owl, two red foxes, Turkey vulture, etc. Great place for a picnic or walk through the forest. Loads of cute chipmunks scurrying around!(Apologies for any motion sickness watching the hand held video - it shows from the top climbing down to the entrance of the tree house)Picnic area: Large covered area with tables behind the nature centre

A cool place to visit. The treehouse is quite a wonder, and the animals are quite interesting. The fields are beautiful, and the beehives are cool. It has the potential to be a great place, however, it seems to have gone downhill in the last few years. Upon my visit, it seemed quite understaffed. The inside of the building was dirty and water jugs were lacking cups and seemed unsanitary. In the raven cage, there was a lot of random garbage. Also, a fox accomplished quite a hole trying to escape.

Really enjoyed my visit here. The staff was very helpful and there's a lot of educational information on the local animals. Was neat to see the animals they have and glad they're able to rescue them. The tree fort was sweet to climb around!!
