This is a great business to work with. We've used them to store and move my daughters things for 2 years and they finally just moved her into an apartment. Wonderful team, very helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend them.

I recently used Big Red Shipping and Storage to store some of my belongings during a move, and I was extremely impressed with their services. From the moment I called to inquire about their storage options, the customer service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in answering all of my questions and providing me with the information I needed to make a decision.Since I was moving back to campus, I took advantage of their pre-arrival delivery, which was very convenient as my items were in my dorm before I even arrived!Overall, I would highly recommend Big Red Shipping and Storage to anyone in need of storage services. The customer service, facility, and security measures were top-notch, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

BRSS was very helpful during my pick-up appointment and the field reps were happy to answer any questions I had along the way. Contacting them was super easy and the response time was amazing. My experience has been all positive so far, would recommend to others.

Pain! It took me 50 days to get my box back! I sent them more than 10 emails to schedule a delivery. Each time, they said they'd do it but didn't specify the date or simply ignored me. Perhaps they're experiencing a shortage of hands, but they should have done better. Putting people in desperation is not, by any standard, professional work.

They will overcharge you when you're in a pinch and will then manage to lose your items by the time Fall comes around.It's student run and I'm fairly certain most, if not all, of the 5 star reviews are written by friends of the "business", so take them with a large grain of salt.

I would give negative stars if I could. Don't use them for anything. Very unreliable and unresponsive! They promised delivery & it has been a week of nothing but emails & calls from me with no response from them.

First the positive. To my knowledge Big Red Shipping Services is the only service that can actually come to your dorm room to take away your boxes. This is a significant positive and may mean that you will still want to use them despite the many negatives. Negatives. 1. The place is student run and the response to phone calls and emails is sketchy at best. 2. If you have ever used a moving company, this is going to be very different. 3. The web portal is very rudimentary and it is hard to know what you are ordering. In fact because there is essentially no explanation you will most likely not get what you were expecting. 4. If you order packing, they will be very confused. Packing usually means the movers bring the boxes and you point and they pack. Big Red Shipping expects that you bought all of the boxes in advance and know where everything goes. Almost no one would ever correctly guess the number of boxes that they need. So the onus is on you to over buy boxes. If you don't have enough boxes, it is not going to storage. My suggestion. Only use BRSS if you are happy to pack your own stuff well in advance and only need movers to put it into storage. The packing service isn't what anybody actually would want.

They said my package was going to be on campus with mailing services before arrival but it wasn't. I reached out to them and they emailed some time slots they can drop it off so I responded back with a time slot that works for me. The package was not delivered and I received no communication from them since I scheduled an appointment time. I sent them an email after the 1-3 time slot to make sure they were indeed on their way and never received an email or a call explaining why they never showed up. I sent some follow up emails softly saying I haven't received my package and what the next steps are and they have completely ghosted me. They also haven't picked up any of the times I have called. If the ghosting continues and my package does not get delivered, I will be filing a claim with the local claims court. Will never use this service again.

As many of the other reviews have said, the staff at BRSS are unprofessional and irresponsible. When I moved into my dorm, I found four large packages, which did not belong to me. I contacted the student whose name was on the packages, and we both reached out to BRSS to figure out why her packages were delivered to my dorm. In this situation, it should be the company's responsibility to fix their mistake by getting the packages to the right customer. However, after more than a week of constantly trying to contact BRSS and even going to speak with them in person, they did not even try to offer any solutions. We ended up moving four large, heavy packages by ourselves all the way across campus. If I hadn't contacted her, maybe she would never have gotten her packages back. It is already quite unthinkable that this kind of mistake would happen, but their company's lack of organization and communication, as well as their inability to problem-solve, became extremely evident. Use RBSS at your own risk, because if you run into any problems, they may never get solved.

I had a terrible experience with BRSS this summer. I made an appointment with BRSS for summer storage, and of course made sure to confirm with them a couple of times in advance. They were supposed to pick up my items the day before my move-out, but they didn't show up - obviously without any notification. This happened on Friday, and they never reached out to me until the next Monday. No response during the weekend, and even then it was a very short email saying sorry, again without any mention of responsibility or compensation. I understand that accidents can happen and things might go out of hand; they should have at least contacted me or, maybe, answered my calls. Manner education is in dire need. Oh wait, not even that, simple common sense should do the job.I would like to give a round of applause to BRSS for their abominably irresponsible and unprofessional service. I am left without words to think that this is one of the major storage services for Cornell community. In case any of you are looking for a storage service that's actually doing their job, I don't even mean to say excel at it, I'd thousand times recommend Uncle Marty's over BRSS. They kindly helpd me despite the sudden call of help; which wouldn't have needed to happen in the first place lest someone did what they were supposed to.

The absolute best shipping and storage company hands down. I ordered four boxes to be stored, and the team came right on time. They were super nice and took care of my items in a quick and timely manner. Very professional business, and I would definitely recommend

My experience with Big Red has been good! The person who picked up my package picked it up on time, and they were really responsive when I would email them.
